I know I haven't responded in a while. I've been trying to not worry or deal with anything except getting better after surgery (it went well, yay!), and moving to the US (again!). I'll get through the backlog once we're settled in

There is a homeless man who spends a lot of time in front of my building all year around. Yesterday morning I saw him shivering as it was suddenly getting colder. He has a health problem that limits his circulation so it's pretty important for him to stay warm. I gave him my pant and jacket liners from my military service so he will be warmer and I bought him a month's worth of Subway lunches on a gift card. I am friends with the manager at the Subway and when he heard what I was doing, he anonymously doubled it, so that he can also get breakfast or dinner everyday. He kept it anonymous because most restaurants have problems with homeless people hanging out inside or begging, but he still wanted to do something good even though the homeless man will never know. That really touched me.

It also is another example of good deeds being contagious.

Well since i don't think it's worth a seperate thread (and it kinda counts as a good deed).
I got a promo code for a 30 day subscription at PlayStation Network (works only with Sony consoles with PS3 and Vita having most benefits).
I don't have a Sony console nor plan to have one so i'd be happy to give it away to... just about anyone who wants it because quite frankly it's worthless to me and someone else could have some fun with the 30 day premium (several games are made availble for the duration so someone dedicated could even complete some of them..)

Warning: MIGHT (i'm not 100% sure) not work outside of EU.
Warning 2: Unless you want to keep the premium sub you have to cancel the subscription before the 30 days are up. Otherwise they will automatically extend the subscription by 90 days and charge 18$
Warning 3: It won't work for people who already have or had premium subscription.
Warning 4: It requires a credit card (I guess it's fairly safe being Sony and all).

You should add what region it is. Sony has divided the EU into a lot of regions.

Quite frankly i can't find my region (and specify what countries are in it in effect) but i'd guess it's mainly central/eastern europe.
But as i said before i have no idea if it even works outside Poland as there are no rules on the pamphlet that state "Works only works in Poland".

Again i have no idea if it's going to work outside of my glorious fatherland but i'm giving it away for free because i can't use feel generous so even if it doesn't work noone really lost anything right?

My good deed:

I was looking through the liquor store when a woman comes in. She wanders over to the pint bottles and starts looking for a specific brand. Lost, she asks about it and a clerk comes over to help her look. After a little bit of searching, another clerk looks it up and finds that the state of Idaho has stopped selling that specific brand in that size. The clerk then recommends another similar brand, but the lady comments that she only has $6.50 on her card and would need to find some change. The clerk brings the bottle up to the counter to wait, while the lady goes out to her car to hunt for change.

After a few seconds deliberation I step up to the counter and buy the bottle for the lady, before going back to browsing. The lady soon comes back in to find her bottle already purchased. She was both confused, happy, and grateful by the sound of her voice. (And every clerk in there seemed completely baffled that I'd do that as well.)

Though for full disclosure, I received my bottle of tequila for free for that act as well.
