The worst thing I've done was have someone curse me out for what they thought was my fault when a creeper exploded on something or other, so I built a warded stone enclosure around where they logged out.

It was very dark inside, so mobs spawned.

I built one around their bed as well.

An admin rescued them very quickly but it was gratifying to see the 5-6 death messages.

Interesting. Basically, it's some form of real currency that also grants premium membership bonuses for a specific amount of time. I'm still not sure how you're able to redeem stuff for /r/gold, but it seems to work that way.

Each gold costs 3.99 monthly, or 29.99 a year.
