Althaine considered the other goddess' proposal for a while in silence. In the end, she shook her head and spoke sadly.

'I am honoured to call you sister, Eleri, but I cannot aid you. Winter is the domain of death and stillness, not the growth you speak of. More than that, I have work to do.'

Althaine looked over the world. She had been neglecting her duty for too long.[/i]

Althaine creates a Dimension: the Garden of the Dead. It is a vast garden of ice sculptures around a fortress of black ice, each sculpture the soul of a dead being. In the Garden, there is stillness and void, eternal, the sky a starless black pressing down on you like a funeral shroud, the air freezing cold, painful to breathe, silence forever reigning. Althaine resides in the Fortress of Silence in the heart of the realm.

The dead will begin to be pulled to the dimension.

I am curious, yes. Only curious. Eleri responded.

Then she spoke to Althaine.

I believe you will do fine, friend Goddess. I will be here and take care of both realms then.

Here's a question: Is there actually a sun?

Here's a question: Is there actually a sun?
((No celestial bodies, silly. :P

The current creatures don't depend on it though, but Irony is BRILLIANT.

Because adaptation will kick in once one is made so everyone should pitch in for a good sun.

...I've not studied astrology (or the correct term for that branch of science) correctly to ponder on if we need a moon. But the night must look good :I And tides.))

((AHA! I may presume we have components for life then without getting an answer! [/guessing]

((We shouldn't need a moon, unless we want tides or eclipses or a mortal space program or something like that.))

I mean, I would write about it X3))

((Keyword: Need. Doesn't mean we shouldn't get one, just that we don't need one.

Give a planet fifty moons for all I care. Just don't be surprised when they start hitting each other and knocking each other out of orbit with cataclysmic results.))

((Quickedit: Well, unless it's a gas giant or something. But it's kind of difficult to have this kind of life on a gas giant, no?))

Here's a question: Is there actually a sun?
((Pretty sure I already mentioned it, but no, there is officially no sun.

The current creatures don't depend on it though, but Irony is BRILLIANT.

Because adaptation will kick in once one is made so everyone should pitch in for a good sun.
((Indeed!

In a similar vein, regions will presumably undergo day and night cycles once you get a sun up. It's not mandatory, mind you, but it's a bit hard to make a traditional sun while doing something different.))

...I've not studied astrology (or the correct term for that branch of science) correctly to ponder on if we need a moon. But the night must look good :I And tides.))
((If Earth didn't have its single massive moon, seasons would be far more chaotic and severe.

This won't be a concern on your worlds unless you intentionally make it so, however.))

((AHA! I may presume we have components for life then without getting an answer! [/guessing]

...May I get an answer? :P))
((I'm not sure what you mean by "components of life." There's air, warmth, and light at the moment, but only because I assumed it was implied by your current regions (and if I was going to force you guys to have a sun I probably should have mentioned that that should really be your first action).

There's no plants, bugs, bacteria, or other living things beyond what you've created, though.))

((Oh C-...

So my studies kick in here. We're actually all doomed XD Because we're full of bacteria!

...But no disease :3 Woo!

Will post and edit later because this world is awesome and I'm quitely thinking on it.))

Lawydia spied N'kari, weaving the KeyGateway, and spoke curtly "A favor asked, a favor due."

Attempt to add positive modifiers to N'kari's roll.

((I would laugh if I flub this one...))

((Which is to say the ecosystem is doomed unless people actually create it, which most of them aren't interested in.))

((And why should they? It doesn't get them any Belief, doesn't let them make a notable mark on the world, and no one god can make a fully functioning ecosystem; there's too many parts. The tragedy of the commons, compounded with practical issues, has made sure that no one cares.

If I were you, I'd have minor things like bugs, rodents, little fish, shrubs, mundane trees, etc, be part of each Region as appropriate.))
