"LADY ALTHAINE, AS I'M BUILDING IN YOUR DOMAIN, YOU WISH TO HAVE ANY SAY ON THEM?"
You see a woman hailing you from down below.

"This is not Althaine's domain! I have any say in this, if you'd note!"

(I was looking one part above, whoop.)

"HUH? OH RIGHT, STILL A LITTLE DRUNK FROM MANIFESTING! SO LADY UMM, ELENI(intentionally mistake this time), YOUR SAY?"

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

Eleri turned her face towards the voice, and noted his regal nature.

You're a being of order, of authority, regulation and hierarchy--law, in common terms--and your time is short, it seems.

I'd rather you aid Althaine, or even perhaps my region as ours are connected by either a Guardian of a helpful feature. Something that would either protect, or serve as a memorial for your kind.

I can help it grow, however my goal is to put essence into this forest here. The sentient races will come, as I believe, and they would probably be overjoyed to know such secrets which are different from their kind.

Which means please rethink your notion of creating sentient beings in my area, thank you.

It was then that Althaine spoke, her voice soft and clear in the void.

'I will lend your children my aid and my voice, brother. Let our will be done.'

Althaine aids Konung in his creation, contributing on her own. Their oaths shall be magically binding on pain of death - literally. Should one break an oath, they and their spawn will be cursed to soon die a painful death. She tells the fledgling race to celebrate and call to her every year in deepest winter, and she shall come amongst them to hear their worries and requests.

((Yes, I meant the wolves would eventually begin producing less intelligent and powerful spawn, in the end normal, RL wolves. I imagine the first 'lesser' generations would still be greater than mundane wolves, something akin to dire wolves.))

What say you, Bodark? Eleri said,
We help this place survive on its own? The creator of the mountains must also agree, perhaps. And my hand is open to aid you here.[/i]

Bodark spoke in a cacophony of voices all saying the same thing, in many different tounges.

All we need is to form an ecosystem.

((I'm thinking about it. I tend to not like them because they render the main thread kind of sterile, but it is a bit difficult to figure out if we're missing anyone at the moment.

You're just rolling low, which isn't that surprising given that we've only had two turns so far. If there were modifiers I'd show them in the roll, like [4-1] or [2+2].))

((I only count six actions, via glancing through for bolded things.

Sentients will probably get somewhat medieval-y, yes. They're not likely to go much higher without getting into magitech, though.))

Why will they go that far but not farther?

Setting preference. Past that point, I'd prefer they start using magic more extensively, rather than getting industrial or steampunk or what have you.
