Wash off the sturdier seeds, including the nuts (whose shells would prevent any zombie stuff from entering the actual germinating part better than most seeds would) and take them with us.

I immediately realize that seeds with sturdier shells would be safe, wash them off, I drink some of my Pepsi that I had, and put the seeds in the bottle, while still bleeding horribly out of my arm. I should fix this. so now I have a bottle of nuts.

Oh, right. Locate some clean cloth and bandage the wound.

I used the some toilet paper and duct tape to cover the wound, it took half of the paper and all of one roll of duct tape to fix, but it works. Now all I'm worried about is when I have to take this off. I also know how to heal myself better for next time. I can see the highway in the distance with a few abandoned cars on it.

That's a funny cloth.

Return to the church and plant the seeds.

I go to the church to plant the seeds so that I can get more food later, but I mustn't forget my goal to leave this void, the zombies from other larger cities will surely smell me eventually. Though I'm sure I can spend my free here at the church doing something else to make life easier.

:What, these aren't hints, this is just nudging you in the right direction:

I don't know how to drive a car, so I get a horse and buggy (horse included) and leave toward the the center of the floating island void, because I figure that's where I'll most likely find a wormhole, but before I left, i got a lighter from a random house, trade my half toilet paper for another full toilet paper, a wash cloth, and a some hay, for the horse. I begin on the highway to Carbondioburg, the first stop before I get to Epicenter City. On the way there, I read journal pages and the book, well books, but most of them are just fantasy novels except for one.

I read the diary first
Quote
This is the Pastor John Douglas Eight, and I fear that my life will be ending soon. The dead have risen, and they are at the doorstep of my church, hundreds of 'em perhaps even thousands. This isn't about me though, for whoever may be reading, the zombies can learn, they get smarter by the second, but worse, I fear there is a greater force lurking in the shadows, something that we cannot begin to comprehend, something more....mechanical in origin. The doors just broke. God save me, God save us all Tell my wife I...............

And then I read the book, which the only legible part is a poem on The Timeless Voids Police Force.
Quote
Kids, you know you'll sleep well tonight
Because The robots cops watch over you
they stop all the crime very well
And then they make sure they sleep    in    hell

If you aren't giving us (well, me) "hints," why didn't you wait to see what I would do with the transportation?

Well, are still in the transportation, just saying.

But in all honesty, I do have a list of things to do for a checkpoint [I have a list on notepad, once we do something, we get a checkpoint] Getting on the highway and discovering that the undead could learn were both checkpoints, we don't want to die and go way back to the organ less corpses do we? I've been going lenient on death though :) . And yes, we do need more participators ::)

Wonder why I started out this direction.

Go around town, scavenging for construction materials, supplies, tools, weapons, flammable fluids, ways to light fires, and anything else useful. Take each load to the church, to be sorted through later.

Maybe living in a town won't be so bad after all, I think.
Anyway, I get back to town, feed my horse a pinch of hay, and get everything I need to the church and put it there. Lots of lighters, toilet paper(this is now a recurring joke) gasoline, swords from the blacksmith shop, and I use hammers and tools to gather planks directly from the surrounding buildings, reconstructing the steeple with them. from the archery range, I get a bow and arrow, I get more food than I could ever need from the supermarket. I even get a knight suit from the museum.

((One arrow, or multiple arrows? If the former, grab the rest of the arrows. Either way:))

"Kinda wish I coulda taken that carpenter's apprenticeship...but how hard can a wall be? It's probably like that time I built a shed."

Build a wall around the church. Leave a "gate"hole for now.
