The worlds between worlds, voids, as their residents call them, are strangle places. They are sub-universes that fill up what we would call in our realities empty space. They exist on the multi-verse, a flat plane of existence that people, places, or even ideas fall into surrounding universes. This is the unfortunate story of you, and the dejected world of the Timeless Void. A Void faced a cataclysm so great, the entire void was uprooted and placed in the skies above the Endless Void, a placeholder for future universes. In it's wake, a magma sea was left and it became the Fiery Void. Anyway, the world you live in was now a desolate sky world, you are the only intelligent creature there.

This void, before it floated away, was once surrounded by our own universe, and ours only, so we only had an influence on it. This void is made of an insane patchwork world of Earth's every single moment, past, present, and future.

"Now there is only one thing certain, my name is Claire, I had a job as a Shepard, I am 19 years old, and I will escape into another void, where I will be safe from the insanity that awaits us in our past home"

So yeah, we just need to find a name, age, and job from any time period of our world.

More backstory, this is a world where all of our time periods occur at once. This world had flying cars and steampunk ships all at once. Cavemen and oil tycoons coexisted in perfect peace.

Just to be clear, there is no outer space, just the ground, because we are "in" the multi-verse, we just have ground and sky.

Alright, maybe wait for a few people to suggest names, at least three.

Yes, I am Claire, a 19 year old shepard. I live on the small farming village of Birnstead near the center of the void. Many of the surrounding farmers chose to use easier mechanical methods of sheparding, but I went for the simple way of life. At least until my parents died when the ground below the void erupted and blasted us into the skies above the Endless Void, and left any other survivors to succumb to the radiation from the nuclear plants turning them into zombies. I still have my trusty shepard's crook though, but I won't be able to stay at my house long, as I have to move on and leave this void. As far as I can tell I am the last human either be a zombie, or dead. For now, I prefer to be neither.

I can see a group of zombies heading here, at least twenty. I am just a shepard, so I don't have any weapons. (that blank can't be a weapon)

*I'll wait a while so people can vote, for this one, I just combined everyone's idea*

Shephard's crook, which is about as good of a weapon as I'm likely to get.

I'll go ahead and give us the crook, since it makes a lot of sense, but I'll still wait for a reply to what to do about the zombies.

My trusty stone tablet with something called the Ten Commandments on it - I found it on a mountain next to a burning bush. I hightailed it out of there afterwards, had to outrun some other guy for it.

Also, observe zombies from a distance. How fast are they?

Oh, I already gave us the crook due to the sense it made, but you can still try to observe from a distance if it is approved.

It's more than obvious that people want to observe the zombies, so

Upon closer examination,  I see these are the slow variety of zombies, not the super quick zombies on TV now. They seem like they are still healthy, surprising since they can't really eat brains much since everyone but me is a zombie, assuming they eat brains. Looking closer I can see their exact numbers, 36, to be exact.
