Move forward, have Wex clear a gap in our line, fire the Burst rune towards the enemy charge. Move back afterwards.



Suggestion: Destroy sections of the inner hold, reducing points of entry to a few narrow tunnels and/or bridges.

It doesn't matter if it takes a long time, that's our best hope for holding out rather than going down in a blaze of glory. We're a relatively small force with flamethrowers defending against an opfor with a substantial numerical advantage; chokepoints are divine right now.

Destroy Paths - Completed in stages. Each stage completed reduces the number of fronts by one. There are five fronts right now, each taking a varying number of turns to block off or demolish. The Main Bridge (7), The Footbridge (4), The Paths (1), The Tunnels (4), and The Thoroughfare (10). Only the Thoroughfare and the Main Bridge are large enough for either side to to fit giant units (yes, you have giant units) or use siege equipment. You can also prepare any of these for a controlled destruction to kill any enemy units located there, but it will take an extra two turns.

You wait patiently for an opportunity to save the day! [3] The enemy fells a soldier here and there, but they're quickly replaced by the ranks behind them!

You point out to a nearby human mounted officer that the traitor elves appear to have gone. [4] He looks down at you.. [6] ..and bellows angrily. The battle at large is of no consequence to you flame-tosser, your arse belongs on the line where you can keep our men safe! If it really matters to you that much, they merely moved a bit further down the line. Now get out of my sight!

You run back to your position, [3] to find that the men are having a difficult time keeping the enemy at bay. You decide not to do anything, as no one has actually broken through yet, though its clear that the goblins are beginning to gain the upper hand through sheer tenacity and numbers alone.

kj1225 - Harden is ready!
You rush over to the line and pray that it manages to hold as it did last time. [2] The line breaks in one point and a dozen vicious, frothing goblins claw their way through and start cutting and thrusting at the exposed troops! [5] You torch them before they can cause too much damage!

A pair of beefy, almost human-sized goblins begin tossing their smaller brethren over the line. [1] One lands on your back and begins clawing at your head! [2] Gazo would get it off, but he's locked in battle with five other goblins that have him surrounded!

Flying Dice
You're about to ask Wex to clear you a spot, when you suddenly realise that the dwarves are so short that you can actually fire directly over their heads without any extra effort. You walk over and fire a Burst into the crowd of enemies. [4] You kill hundreds with a single shot. Burst will be ready again on Turn 7.

Looking at the troll Mark has one tought about it "oh hell"
and looks around for some ranged troops to redirect arrow and bolt fire at it.

Wow! I never would have thought of that!

Use the Meteor to take out the goblin warlord--not in a romantic way, in a flaming death way. Also try to kill as many other goblins in the blast as possible.
Worry a bit about the Dark Elves and where they could have gone.
