I do not think my pc will handle it, even with temperature off i was not getting more than 15FPS. I was thinking more of a next fort in the same world. And now I'm dealing with Shakecloistered 1.5 so not much time. If you are not planning on making more forts in the same world feel free to remove me from rotation, i'll stay here for a while anyway for RP.

Hey guys! Can I please get the latest save in a .zip rather than a .rar? I don't trust WINRAR as much as maybe I should.

I would, but I trust and only use WINRAR. I have no other file compressor, sorry :/

What? Okay. Go onto your desktop, right click, go to new, create a compressed (zipped) folder, then move the files into it. Put that onto DFFD or Mediafire or whatever. You don't need a special program, Windows has that feature already built in. Simple.

I'm not quite THAT stupid 

The problem is that winzip keeps telling me I have to buy it, not letting me use it at all. I have no other usable compressor other than WINRAR. If the only problem is a lack of trust, then surely it can be over come. I don't see a reason not to trust it myself. Failing that, someone else can download my RAR file and zip it.

*Facepalm* Okay, I'm going to explain again. I have neither WinRAR nor WinZip on my computer. I can still create compressed, zipped folders by right clicking. What part of this do you not get? I am not calling you stupid, I am irritated yes but not to the point of wanting to insult people. And for the record I refuse to put either Win programmes onto my computer for three reasons:

1. I have no need to install WinZip to create zipped folders and I have no need to install WinRAR as I do not use, create or download .rar files.
2. However trustworthy the programmes may seem, in the past my laptop's Norton Security has always flagged up issues with the program WinRAR. I am not going to take a chance on a program that is not necessary for me to play DF.
3. I was quite capable of putting my files into a zipped folder, using the features that are packed in with Windows, and putting them onto mediafire the moment my turn ended. Now obviously I haven't downloaded every turn of this Fort, but surely one of the previous turns was also available to download in a .zip form, as mine was, rather than a .rar or .7zip or similar which requires a third party program to access.

So, and forgive how irritable I am being, it is not entirely intentional, I implore you to try again. I am not asking you to install WinZip, nor buy it. Just take the files directly from the saved games folder, highlight them, move them to a zipped folder following the right click menu and put them on the file sharing website of your choice. Please. It should take you no more than a minute.

If you cannot then I implore other members of this Succession game who HAVE the WinRAR program and fully understand what I am talking about to do it for him, so that I may carry on with my turn.

Okay, now I'M going to explain again. I said I didn't have another compressor, and I meant it. I know exactly what the in built zip folder is and have used it on other computers. I thought you would want a winzip folder, as how was I supposed to know otherwise. Now, while I don't believe you are calling me stupid, I do believe that you are being unneedfully patronising, and do not appreciate it. But that doesn't matter I suppose. Can someone else please do it for him as I can not? Please include a  folder for him 

Edit: I scanned my winrar with norton. No threats detected. Perhaps it was just your norton jumping at shadows.
