I read that they may add a map editor, sounds really cool and i imagine workshop on steam to overflow with them, which is better than the small ~20 levels of the original. It deserves many more.

Game is due to release Q3 of this year.

Will feature dual wielding, the ability to roll and potentially co-op.

Will also feature more driving MURDERBEATS.

I wonder if the game will fix the splitting headache you get when you play the game too long.

I know that was the point... but still...

Are you telling me you're willing to fight through a blatant psychological problem to kill people?!?!

I never understood the story.  Gameplay was fun though so I might pick it up when it goes on cheap.

It originally started out with the possibility that you are going through withdraw fueled psychotic episodes with the lights and music meant to put you in a similar state.

And it ends with... -_-

I actually liked the ending(the true one, when you use the password on the computer and everything).

Sure, it wasn't an ending worth an Oscar or something, but it was good :P

This second game is taking a long time to be released, but this new trailer makes me think it will be worth it. The gameplay seems much more fluid, and dual wielding + rolling looks awesome!

What bothered me about the ending was that the plot (while simple) was kept interesting by the mystery of what the hell was going on, and then it kind of just got revealed and was like, "Welp, it's over." It wasn't a particularly bad reveal, it's just that I would've found it a lot more compelling without any kind of conclusion, so it'd be left to speculation.

Yeah, I agree that what drove the storyline was the tons of unknowns and ambiguity. It lent everything a mystic quality, made you see meaning in all the demented twists and turns. The actual ending basically rips that mysticism to shreds and in its place puts a pretty.....ho-hum reason for it all. The ending works, but the build up to it was far, far cooler than the reveal.

Ok... I am just sort of wondering what the point of dual wielding is in a game all about "finishing blows"
