There's not really any sort of clear consensus so far.

And, taking an arrow to the knee, is an old scandinavian expression wich means: getting married.

Ok, if there's not a clear consensus that's not "charge at the heavily armed soldiers" by tomorrow I'll just choose what to do myself.

Conjure our familiar and send it to deal with the soldiers for as long as it can. While the soldiers are occupied, attempt to another way out. If I remember right, we should be able to resummon our familiar at least twice more before running out.

[18+1] You push the door open a crack and conjure your familiar outside, directly atop the guard nearest your hiding spot.  The Thalmor are too concerned with the giant toad that just appeared in their midst and crushed one of their compatriots to notice where it was cast from.

[3+1] You try to raise the crushed altmer, but before you can complete the soul bind somebody bumps the door shut, interrupting the spell.  You have barely any magicka left now, not enough for another conjuration.

[9]vs[15] Your familiar fights hard, doing quite a bit of damage as it throws its weight around, but is ultimately overwhelmed by sheer weight of numbers and dispelled.

If we do charge, let's use the arrows instead of the knife. Be sure to aim for their knees.

what?

It had to be said.

I'm so very sorry.

They aren't nords.

Doesn't matter. The joke is still terrible, however you look at it..

The yellow text is very hard to read. Could we get that in a nice lavender or fuscia?

I don't really know what fuscia is.

Works fine with Darkling, or I could just un-colour it.

Just use a darker color (if you like - if not, it's fine, I just thought I'd mention it.). The yellow blends in with the light blue background. The green is a little light too, but not so bad. What's Darkling?

Also, "sheer weight of numbers" sounds bad. We seem to be trapped between a horde and a hard wall (three, really. Also, floor and ceiling.) Kinda wish we'd gone the "enchant" route, back at the cell ...  Maybe we can still try it on the first through the door.

Well if nothing else we can try to work the Open Easy Lock spell in reverse and try to lock the door to the office. It will at least buy us some time if it works, although there are no exits from the room that we're in.
