Rally the prisoners to help you in your fight. (We don't have a rally spell, so our speech has to do.)

That way, if any prisoners or Thalmor are killed in the fighting, we can reanimate them (when our magicka is restored) and have a temporary companion.

Oh, and of course, try and finish off the guard who found us.

[19-2]vs[19] You whip the bucket into the altmer's face and snap his head back, but before you can capitalize on the opening his desperate flailing knocks you onto your back.
[15]vs[2-2] He recovers from his stun in record time and before you even see him move he's buried his glass blade deep in your gut.  He leaves the dagger inside you as he steps back, drawing his bow and an arrow from his back and preparing to finish the job.

Rally the prisoners to help you in your fight. (We don't have a rally spell, so our speech has to do.)

[11-2] In desperation you call out to the prisoners you released.
"He-help!  This one freed you, return the favour!  Please, this one needs your help!"
Most of the prisoners alert enough to heed your call are too scared to come to your aid, but a single argonian hisses and rushes at the archer, taking an arrow to the chest for her trouble.  The rest seem torn between attacking the Thalmor soldier or being shot as well.

might not want to "take" the dagger just yet. Not until we can heal. Otherwise, won't we make it worse? It is, after all, still sticking out of our considerable midsection.

[12] In desperation you use the last of your magicka reserves to fire a stream of purple lightning at the guard.  He spasms and drops to the ground, unconscious.
You look around.  You find yourself at a T-junction, the cell block branching left and right.  The Thalmor guard appears to have come from the left, and you hear more soldiers coming from the right.  Behind you, a small group of prisoners seems to have decided to follow you.

Enter the junction, look to the right, and yell "YOL TOOR SHUL!"

If this works, I will be incredibly surprised.

Take the bow and quiver, or just carry the arrows.

We're a Sload. We think wisely, not rashly. The Thalmor is down. More are coming. We have no magicka. We are injured.

Our pseudopod-like arms give us superior grip on things. If we have enough time, drag the dead Thalmor into another prisoner's cage and let him/her deal with it.
Then, attempt to conceal the dagger injury. It's fairly incriminating if we have a dagger in us, especially a glass dagger. Failing that, remove the dagger and stow it somewhere.
(By the way, our gripping ability lets us climb very well indeed if given enough time)
