New releases?

The last release I can find is from June 2012 which is a year old, I don't know if this was just the last release but if not can someone tell me where the new one is, thanks in advance.

That's the latest.  Toady is actively working on the next one.  We don't know when it will come, though.

Yeah, new release is still in the fiery forges of The Great Toad.
Until he finishes hammering that one into shape, may I recommend LNP to you.
This release contains all the bugfixes and extensions to the game. Highly recommended to all the newbies of the world.

Does this have the additions he adds which are talked about on the main website and also does it have Mayday?

Mayday yes, I assume by the main  website you mean the devlog: No.
This is the same 2012 release with added utilities, graphics and bugfixes, next version in a few months. Probably autumn.

Search for the extended Lazy Noob Pack.

Do not get offended by the terms 'lazy' or 'noob', its just a pack that includes the latest version of DF, various unofficial bugfixes for it, a couple of graphics packs and some useful utilities.
