This particular giant spider doesn't really need somewhere to stay, as it does a proper location. It can house itself perfectly well.

I guess it depends on how big of a giant spider we're talking about. If it's "you'll want to rent a moving truck" big, I think we can safely take theft off the table.

Hmm... Well, what I'd say is that you could take skills that very much focus on raw application of brute force, since that seems to be the normal MO of Internal magic, since it's basically just people with REDICULOUS amounts of raw power.

Might I recommend that you look into the charms included in Solar Hero Style for inspiration? That's kinda their hat :p

I think you're neglecting the "is a magical creature" side of Internal Magic. Werewolves, undead, people under curses and with powerful artifacts all become internal mages. So, anything that Wolf Man, Dracula, a Ghost or Thoth-Amon could do are all things that an Internal Mage could learn to do.
-Spell that lets you turn into an appropriate animal.
-Spell that lets you assume a dual nature, ala Wolfman turning into a half-man, half-wolf creature or a angel-blooded guy sprouting wings and starting the glow.
-Spell that reveals your inner nature to someone, terrifying/fascinating/confusing them, or, if they're the same thing you are, letting you two communicate.
-Communicating with animals/magical creatures in general.
-Turning yourself into <element>. Examples include turning into mist, becoming a living shadow, erupting into a tower of flame, stoneskin, etc.
-Draining things that are magic into you, recharging your mana. Mechanically, this lowers your Cantrip Check DC.
-Draining things that are magic into you, healing yourself of wounds.
-Rituals that let you turn other people into whatever sort of freaky thing you are.

It's less that, and more it'll kill you in a slow and painful way if you piss it off. And that getting it out isn't going to be easy either.

I'm pretty sure you misunderstand what internal mages are all about. They don't have more raw power than any other class. In fact, in terms of damage potential, Manipulators and Material Mages are the highest ranking. Internal mages are more about versatility and practical utility than raw power output.
