Tokentool and maptools handle the size. If you want to mess around with tokens, go here to d/l the app: (http://www.rptools.net/index.php?page=downloads#TokenTool)

Once you have tokentool open, you select a frame from the options on the right, paste in an image, and drag it around until the bit you want is in the frame. Use the scroll wheel on your mouse to make an image on-screen grow or shrink. Save when you are done.

Will we be using Maptool's server hosting, or some sort of lan program like Hamachi?

Either Tar or Kuji will host through MapTool. Apparently there have been a few technical difficulties involving private LAN programs in the past.

I'd guess whatever the default is. I don't remember messing with size options.

That's a relief. Hamachi has always been a pain in the butt to use, so it's good that we won't have to.

Hamachi's not a viable option anyway, unless someone's already payed money for expanded server space. I was thinking something more along the lines of Tunngle might work, but I'm not entirely sure how it would handle interacting with MapTool.

TokenTool automatically gives out the correct size.

Yeah, the combat demo is tomorrow, Dwarmin. We don't have everything quite ready yet, but we're working on it. Speaking of, do you have the combat stuff ready for me to work on yet, Kuji?
