1500$ per Star Cloak.

On the Mystic front:
Two new features up, a list of 10 mystic spells is written up, with placeholder descriptions for now. Actual spell descriptions are forthcoming.

1+x-3? Why not just x-2?

Edit: Also are these beads like, special somehow? Because to the best of my recollection Infernal Dubloons were worth like fifty bucks weren't they? It looks like Dwarmin purchased a pile of trash for 1,500 bucks. (Or rather, 1,500 bucks in items he desperately needs. If he tries to pay in things he can spare it's 3k$) Now. Don't get me wrong. Some of that stuff looks interesting, and maybe the cool things make the whole thing worth buying. Maybe. But for a wholesaler that is a pretty shitty price. I am fairly sure you can buy more then 300 gallons of sand for 1.5k$ Or more then 20 pairs of shorts for that matter. Does the quality of the beads matter at all? Because I am not seeing any objective measurement anywhere. It seems like this Bulkmen guy is a total rip off.

A good portion of the cost is the service of transporting them to to Mile's Dreamcatcher. Career casters tend to overvalue their time and service. Another part of it was the merchant knows that lots of people who know the right crafting techniques can make huge bank on 20 beads, and assumed that Miles could still make a very good profit after paying him what he asked.

Running the math, if Miles makes does the ritual seven times, using the minimum number of beads each time, that's about 12000$ profit. More if he rolls good, which he will since it's a DC 5 check and his Craft: Jewels roll skill is 3d6.

E: He'll probably use at least some of them for his bracers, but still. Dwarmin is going to make bank on this deal.

Alright. The reflection page should be fully updated. With any luck we will play tomorrow. We can start as soon as everybody shows up.

I love how I keep getting the most evil spells, for the most reluctant character.

I had a similar spell in the old Magia that turned me into a mist of mana. Wasn't nearly as useful, but I was mostly invulnerable during that state. Didn't really matter though, I got it the session where I absorbed about eight thousand criticals and ended up unconscious most of the time.

Man. These are the best rituals. I am going to have so much fun with the "Contact Secret Congo Base" ritual.

Also, arrrgh.

Dose anyone mind sharing their in-game macros with me?

For some inexplicable reason, none of my old ones are working right.

That's because they're all based on PTU~

If you're trying to program for your attacks, remember to switch SPATK for MGATK.

@Kuji: I don't think it's that.

Just everytime I try to put in a targeting macro, it does the formula twice.

Code: [Select]
Miles invokes cantrip: Sword of Mercy!
Target [t:target]
To Hit Roll [t:1d20] Vs AC 4
Damage on hit: [t:1d8+5+MGATK] Physical

Contain Magic Check [t:1d4-1] Vs AC 4
Now, I can replace the 't:' with 'r:' and it displays the numbers normally-but the dice result rollover doesn't pop up, which someone complained about last session. So I have to fix it somehow.

You can use r only when there isn't a dice roll, like in the target field.

Also, don't forget the typing of the damage.

EDIT: Okay... this might actually be a b89 bug. For now, don't macro any of your moves while I bring this to the attention of the guys who work on MapTools.

Turns out turning off smilies fixes the problem. Thanks, Lilli!
