Okay, I just got my new computer set up and everything. What does this mean for the campaign files? NOTHING, since I had those on the external hard drive. I just have to get used to a larger screen now

"Let's see, let's see. What's on the agenda today...

Step One. Get the lay of the land, talk to the people. See if it's just the administration that hates Aijorluk, or if it's more of a "everyone in Arkham" thing.

Step Two. Supplies. Well, what are the worst case scenarios? Base gets overrun by vampires, we get run out of town by Arkhamites, or there's a really nasty blizzard. One fallback point, one GTFO bag and a cooler full of food and space heaters it is.

Step Three. Astral Projection. Yeah. I've been meaning to get to work on that. I'll pray to Fen Fwa for guidance, of course, but after that we're heading to the Library.

Actions:
3 hours: Explore the Miskatonic Campus. Do a bit of sightseeing, talk with the students. (3d6+3 Charm)
2 hours: Shopping for mundane supplies at a Super Store. See list. (Shopping)
3 hours: Explore the Old Woods. See if I can't meet some natives. (3d6-1 Perception)
4 hours: Research Astral Projection techniques. 3d6+3 Lucidity/Piety (Fen Fwa)

Grek's post is pretty good. Only complaint is that there is a skill for researching. The Lucidity/Piety part comes into play later when you are trying to master whatever you have found.

That was my thought, but Research really is a better fit.

Miles' standards must have really fallen if he'll settle for a $25 blender, Dwarmin. Hopefully it lasts long enough for a good one to be purchased.

@Lillipad: Well, it wasn't specified if I needed an industrial blender or a food processor...

Well, it just says "A Blender". Presumably it has to be big enough to hold the components (At least 3 Beads obtained from an Enbead Cantrip or Merchant Spell, 1 Bottle of Everclear, 2 Cups Sulfuric Acid), which is about 6 cups of fluid and under a cup of solids.
