Oh. Also your not allowed to rank skills up past rank 3 during character creation, except for the common knowledge ones.

Edit: Also the pre-req for merchant says you need a dream catcher, so add one to your inventory.

Earth History, no.

I'd say Magical History would have the Alien Tag, but that dosn't matter since you invested in it. If you only intend for the skill to cover the non-mundane elements of earth history thats where it stops, however if you want the skill to cover the history of the entire multiverse, I'd give it a difficulty of 5.

Edit: Your ritual will be related to jeweling; and I have done nothing mechanical for the armlets yet. Would you like me to make your feature related to dueling instead?

@Ws: Hmm, okay. Feature should be dueling related.

Also, I couldn't justify the ENTIRE multiverse. It's fine with non-mundane elements. Cleopatra was a necromancer? Cool!

Tar and I got a bit of work done on the forum turn rules last night. We tried to have a business front cleared for a consistent place to earn money between missions, but Weird deemed that too friendly a concept. So the only way it may even happen at all is if the business front becomes less a business, and more a sweatshop.

Is that even a thing that is needed? If this game is anything like the last one, the game part of the game is the players jobs, and shouldn't that be enough?

Edit: Presuming of course that the player in charge of making sure the money from the missions is split up actually does his job. My old character sheet still has eighty nine thousand dollars to split with the other players. (Actually it has half a million written down, but I think part of that is a typo.)

It's meant for a consistent source of income that you can go to freely if you need more money but don't want to devote constant time to an actual job, or risk getting hurt in a magical one. Tar and I have been making the magical side a bit more limited so that disasters aren't so common, so having a mundane source of income with no worries seemed like a good idea.

That was more or less my arguement in shooting them down on that front, that and I don't want to encourage my players to do boring, repetitive, crap.

If you absolutely must have a stable job, feel free to go after one. I'm not gonna drop it in your characters lap is all.

Well the main draw of the business front for us was that it wouldn't have to be repetitive garbage, just somewhere you could for up to 9 hours to earn a bit of cash money, without having to dedicate most of the week to it.
