Bay12: we win at poverty.
What can ya say, we try our best to eke out a living from the land, with 7 dwarves and a miner's pick. And we somehow survive anyway :P

Hardcore: Every time you lose a real mine is left beneath the floorboards somewhere in your house, and if you try to get up in the middle of a game your hands fall off.

Hardcore QWOP:

You are now an aspiring pianist. There is a set of keys to control each individual finger, a set of keys to affect the positioning of your wrist and hand (in 3 dimensions, instead of 2), a set of keys to affect the spacing between your fingers; the angling, elevation, and position of your wrists.

The same goes for your feet, the most important being positioning of the feet and applying pressure.

And of course, the pages of the piano book you're playing from don't turn themselves, either.

e: There should also be a "hard" mode to this game. Posture of your body and arms would affect a new "score" counter that is also affected by things such as key accuracy, tone, and length.
However, if you were to somehow lose all support from your back and fall face-first into the piano and suffer a major concussion, you can limp onto the floor and slowly drag yourself over to a table on the opposite side of the room. On top of the table is your cellphone, which you must use to dial 911 before you succumb.

e2: Said phone is also a flip-phone.

Damn that sounds harder then open heart surgery QWOP.

Casual Bay12 forums: OPs are ad-lib style templates. Every reply is one of about ten generic messages you pick from a drop-down list.

Hardcore Internet: Every website is HTML code in a .txt file stored locally on the site owner's computer. You have to connect to their computer with a terminal and Hamachi, after meeting them IRL to get the name and password of their Hamachi server. You must then use console commands to download the .txt file and external resources (graphics, videos etc.) to your own computer, exactly matching the file organization of the host's computer. From there, you are free to interpret the HTML code and draw what the website would look like on a sheet of paper.

Your hardcore internet sounds pretty close to what it was like when it started.

Casual Real Life: You were born into a wealthy family that has little connection with the public eye (politics, questionable business dealings, tax evasion, film).

Hardcore Real Life: Let's just say you could very easily die in chargen.

I think this is impossible. Money seems like a literal magnet for drama.

Hah! I thought the first complaint about that would be that it's impossible to get and keep real wealth without that kind of drama.

Actually, in the reality TV age that's pretty much correct, too.

Money makes drama and drama makes money, basically. It's the true cycle of wealth in the modern age.

Though there are plenty of moderately wealthy people who live out quiet, happy lives. You just don't know about them due to the lack of Drama.

Easy Papers Please
You are a passpport checker for a very small, easygoing nation during a time of peace and prosperity. There's no terrorists or smugglers since everyone's happy. There is only one stamp: "approved". The job doesn't pay well, but your family is on benefits that are never cut so that's okay.

Hardcore papers please:
It is real life. You actually ARE an inspector, and beware, some people would love nothing more than to blow up your booth.

Actually, I can come up with a worse Hardcore one.

Hard Papers Please
You are a passport inspector in Artzoska. Except it's in the middle of a revolution. The government has somewhat collapsed, so the ministries (Including ones that shouldn't even be talking to you, like the Ministry of Farming) send their agents to you with conflicting orders that, if defied, will result in immediate execution on the spot. Everyone is insanely desperate to escape their nations, which are also going under even worse revolutions, so they will pull a gun on you as soon as you deny them. Did I mention the agents execute you for getting one citation? Your family is also an issue, because they all have gotten life-threatening diseases and require constant expensive medication. And worst of all... Jorji is actually rather short-tempered with you. THE HORROR.
