You two are in! We're skipping Firsal for now, so Mouseshy you can go ahead and take your turn!

Can't play, too much schoolwork.  :(
I could put you on for a later spot, if you'd like.

I'll take a turn. Whats the time limit on turns? And where should I host my save file?
i'm not a newb at DF in general but I've never played a succession fortress (hence the questions)

You're both in. Time limit is at least one season every three days. If you get inactive, you will be skipped. You can host it anywhere, as long as it is a protected site. I personally use Mediafire, as it is free and easy.

ok :) perfect, I won't have to download another version. I just cleared space by deleting unused worlds on my DF... 3 GB in just five worlds o.o

It appears that I know what my deal is going to be, depending on how we are doing when I get in. I like how the first person took the first floor blueprints from the tutorial that introduced me to this game

The Complete and Utter Newbie Tutorial For Dwarf Fortress ;)

Yes ;) I used it. My main DF setup now is the Masterwork Dwarf Fortress, for the added difficulties brought on by the additional monsters and races. But I have yet to design a fortress super-weapon, simply because the pipe mechanics are beyond my figuring out.

The best defense I can ever get is a legendary military and some stonefall traps, lol
