Nathara merely stays there and watches curiously.

"Eh?" Rhett turned around to see who was talking to him, only catching that he was indeed being spoken to by someone next to him about half way through it. He looked at the woman speaking to him, trying to connect why she looked so familiar. "Shilvar sphoo--" Whack! Normally it would of been a hit to laugh off for someone like him, but in his current condition it set him off balance. "Whao--!" The large man stumbled backwards and thudded against the tree behind him. "Oof--!" Trying to take a step forward, the man didn't notice the orange that had fallen on the ground due to him smacking into the tree, stepping on it.

The orange rolled under his foot, sending him backwards once again. "Urg--!" CRACK. Rhett's head had smashed into the same tree, stopping his decent in an slopped angle. The man was still for a few moments, not moving an inch, before another orange fell and landed on his head with a soft whap, sending the man onto the ground, out cold. He twitched a bit, and with thus the great hooded white beast was felled by that of the pious.

Have horrible events happen, become the unconscious.

Staring at the downed Rhett, Adelaide momentarily considered a future role as a bandit bludgeoning legendary heroine named 'Priestess Smash', but reconsidered when she realized how much work that would require.

"Oh, I finally got one! Er, oops...non-violence...

Anyway, he'll be fine. Poor Rhett. We've all been there."
She says, patting him on the head.

Rhett twitched a bit at the pat, before a sound came from from the man, first soft but then growing louder. He was snoring.

:"...Is it over? I've got some studying that I really want to do."
Namely, Nathara had begun the study of ancient magic; the magic only of runes. It was often thought that while light magic was purely spiritual, magic of the anima was purely scholarly. However, as any practitioner of anima magic knew, this was simply not true. To use light magic, one must have a spiritual connection, as is common knowledge; but somewhat less common knowledge is that one also has to have a similar connection to the magic itself with anima magic- beyond the simple aptitude to perform magic.

And for all of her natural talent with runes, Nathara simply did not have a strong connection. She could memorize all of the runes and combinations thereof she wanted; it meant nothing if she didn't have the innate connection with the magic enough for the more powerful spells. And she'd begun to despair that she would never be able to become a powerful mage. But thankfully, Maskep is a land of scholars, and of mages, and many rare things there are known. And thanks to that, Nathara learned about "dark" magic.

Dark magic required that one be able to perform magic, yes. But unlike anima magic, and most utterly unlike light magic, dark magic did not require that connection. Ironically enough, Nathara figured that despite all of its negative connotations it often has with insanity and the like, that dark magic, that ancient magic, was really the most logical: it required only that one know the long and complicated series of runes.  Nathara could do that. She could do that very, very well. Which is why she intended to get to her tent as soon as possible and continue memorizing dark magic runes. If she went the path of dark magic, then she could truly master magic.

"Studying? Ughhhh..." Adelaide groaned.

She had her fill of that long ago-so many numbers, and words, and complex symbols! How could she be expected to remember all of them perfectly?

Sure, Adelaide had given it a fair short. She had a fair deal of the connective energies inherent in her by birth-naturally gifted, as she considered herself in most other ways. But, the vagaries of Anima always sought to elude her...mostly, long hours of honing concentration and learning theorem and incantation and runework. Which was all horribly, horribly boring. She quickly found there was no time to have fun, and she could only lob off studying for so long until she had, had, had to do it. And, Adelaide hated that.

She heard dark magic was even worse, and that was for crazy people anyway. This-for reasons explained before, she found clerical work the fit for her. You literally let the staff do all the work, and basked in the glow of constant appreciation...

Now, as before, she had the same idea-to save Nathara like she had saved herself! From a life of tedious studying and boredom!

She scoffed over and snagged Nathara's sleeve before she could scurry to her tent. Had to think quick...

"Don't run away yet, Nathara! I wanted to talk to you." She said with a charming smile.

Nathara found herself blocked from running over to her tent; but she had to study! She noticed a hand on her sleeve, whose owner was the priest lady, uh, Adelaide. Nathara really did want to study, but she supposes she did have a little bit of time to talk.
:"Huh? What did you want to talk about?"

"Oh, just about the plans for tonight-you and me. Speaking honestly-you're the first girl in the Company since that sleepy pegasus-riding girl who Foster fired for falling asleep midflight...

And, I've not had much a chance to really enjoy myself hanging out with the 'bros' over there...they ruin my game."
She says, surreptitiously thumbing towards Foster and Elian and speaking in a lower, yet still easy to hear voice...

"So, how about you put on your best dress and your nicest shoes, and we go out dancing tonight? I know this great place in town called the 'Wyvern O'Spirals'-it's run by this Altarian ex-Duchess, and she owes me a favor, you know what I'm saying, I can get us the best seats in the house. And, Drinks are free for pretty girls tonight-tee hee, we both qualify for those! You have to try an Austryn Sunrise-it's GREAT! They come in tiny shot sized glasses you have drink all at once, that's the rule. My personal score is seven...seventeen before I passed out!

Lots of cute guys there too. Flyguys. Like, guys who fly. Fly Wyverns. So dreamy. Sometimes they let you pet the Wyverns stabled in the back, and one time I actually got a ride on a wyvern, and then...well, whatever came later, right?

So come on, will you go with me? I won't take no for an answer!"
She said, tightening her wing-girl grabbing grip.

Tyrone pops his neck, pausing a bit before hoisting the unconcious body onto his steed.

: "This way they'll be easier to carry."

He then turns his head to look over at the pair of women as they seem to be planning... something.

Wait. Wait. Wait. Partying?! Nathara had absolutely no idea how to respond to this. And as such, her response was merely a bewildered:
:"Uhh..."
Nathara, you see, had no experience in this.

"I know! It's going to be so fun you can't find the words! Let's go shopping first-don't worry, Daddy pays my bills. Tee hee!

Anyway...I admire the mage look, I really do, but you want something with a bit more color for a night on the town...perhaps dark blue with white trim...and one of those cute witch hats would look darling on you...we can get your hair done up exactly like mine, that'd be so cute...designer shoes, maybe K-pegs or Arclites?

Oh, we're going to be the best of friends, Nathara!"
She said, tugging her new friend away from the field gently, away from studying and toward a life of debauchery.

Nathara kind of grimaces as Adelaide just tugs her away. Well what is she going to do now?

Tyrone rides up next to them, frowning a bit.

"You seem in distress, Nathara. Are Adelaide's actions something you do not wish?"

((Yeah, yeah, no image, not at home right now, I'll edit it in later."
