Np, for the purposes of my turn I'll just say something like.

Renogiate guild of metal workers contracts for higher profit and lower cost.

No specific details.

How big an impact will the armour have if I do the effective version?

It would give the king a +1 in personal combat rolls.  Since the king doesn't have Talents, it'd be a pretty significant bonus for him.

That are some lucky rolls there.

Because when brains have failed, the only thing that remains is balls.

Uhm Grek.

You don't know they accused Alex, you don't even know it was in any way relevant to her.

All you know is random stuff about a witch.

The Chancellor is speaking with Hulen (DH), if there is any question as to whether I actually meant the shaman. He is the one most skilled at persuading the masses, after all.

Having met Alexis, Gamel is assuming that the angry warriors, accusations of witchcraft and attempted stabbings are all somehow her fault. For no logical reason other than the fact that he dislikes her and she was in the village at the time.

Rule Changes

Commanders can now lead troops and train them.  It was silly and not-fun to force you to choose.  So I'll let Azthor retro-actively apply another £10 discount to troop training for having Anastasia and Raeric both do it.  In other words, Anastasia can also lead troops now.

Kyle, I'm merging medicine and surgery as your talents because there isn't much game difference.  You may choose a new second talent for yourself, as you were getting a bit left out.

Once again, the superiority of sheer balls over rational thinking, logic, and brainpower has been proved.

Can't I control the guards themselves without needing to give them an order, it's been happening a lot in the game already, what effect does the loss of 20 sanity have on me?

It shouldn't have been, but apparently I've been far too soft on Alexia's use of it.*  I rolled to see if they'd do it anyway, though, because it was a perfectly reasonable action.

The sanity loss is just a reference to Call of Cthulhu.  Feel free to play whatever post-traumatic insanity you wish.

Also, Google Chrome's dictionary apparently contains Cthulhu as a proper noun, since it didn't flag it up as a spelling mistake.  Huh.

*Alexia should only be able to give blades commands if she's present in the capital.  Really, I should make the blades only respond to the king when she's away from them.

Well  be fair it is kind of required, the guards are not robots so they should at least have common sense to act like humans.
