God, I love the Ogres. If we convert, I imagine they'll invade and drag us all to the Maw, to be personally devoured by His Holiness. It's a great honor, dontchaknow.

Ohhh boy.  I'd best roll for this seizure.  Should be interesting, one way or another...  o_o

It was to be expected, I suppose.

Seizure? Did I miss something? It hasn't actually happened yet.

Rich man without protection arrives at court of King who needs money. Kinda to be expected.

Quote
"It would seem our guest has displeased His Majesty with his antics, take him to a stroll through the dungeons, but tell the torturer we need him alive. Seize everything outside, he seemed all too eager to help our treasury expand, after all. Who are we to refuse?"

I have protection.... I have a small well armed well trained group of guards.

But we have to see how the king reacts to my gift first.

Someone's going to get tortured. :P

Anyways, may I have permission to be the Bishop of Viridon?

Since the bishop's landed, I have reservations about that.  You'd need to drop a talent in exchange (so one talent + bishopric).

Edit:  Okay, since you guys are still negotiating I've withdrawn that result.  If you already know how it rolls, try not to let that affect your judgement -too much-, because I wrote it before there was the possibility of not getting thrown into gaol.

Lol I get a -2 for my clothing?

Then after surviving a fight and being 2/3 dead I don't even get a choice in how I react to the new situation? I just decide to do the stupidest thing in history and walk into the enemy building.

You got a -1 for the fact that you look like a ninja, and a -1 for the fact that the chief's just been brutally murdered, there may be a witch about and these are guards on high alert near the treasury.  And yet, even with that you had a 33% chance of success.  Aren't RtD rolls fun?

Also, for those who didn't see my edit to the previous message I've withdrawn part of the turn until the negotiations with McGrieve are finished.  Didn't see there were more posts until I'd posted the turn.

That makes sense, sort of.

Can I also point out that in my turn it specifically says

If it fails then stay nearby in a concealed position and observe in case they leave, so once I manage to escape the guards rather then concealing myself I do the total opposite and walk into the building?
