"Agreed. I do not look forward to picking up the pieces of the mess Ansel's created."

(And I'm out. Later, y'all.)

After the (ex)prisoner left, Ursa turned towards Oscar, a clear expression of dislike on his face.

: "What does Horse Archer want?"

"It's simple." Oscar went silent for a moment, staring at Ursa's face.

"Stop corrupting m- our Princess. She is above filth like you. Do you understand? You can laugh at me now, I might be a fragile archer without as much muscle as you and I might look like a little annoying kid in your eyes, insulting you with petty names, but Princess Diana is bound to do glorious tasks and needs a proper consort in the future... even that damned purple brat will do. But you, you continue to violate the Princess with yourself, you ignore my warning - and one morning you will simply won't wake up."

Ursa didn't quite understand what some of Oscar's words meant...but he did recognize a threat when he heard one. And Ursa had only a few responses worthy of archers who threatened him.

With a snarl, the large man grabbed Oscar by the front of his shirt collar and slammed the archer into the nearest wall, followed up by a couple more slams for good measure. By holding a massive forearm against Oscar's neck, he held the smaller man against the now slightly-dented wall and leaned in close.

: "Ursa not know why Horse Archer concerned about who Princess is friends with, but Ursa doesn't care. Threaten Ursa again and Ursa will kill Horse Archer. Speak a bad word about Princess, and Ursa kill Horse Archer slow."

He increased the pressure against Oscar's throat.

: "Only reason Horse Archer still alive is because Princess need help. Even from scum like Horse Archer. But if Princess decide she not want Horse Archer around any more..."

After waiting for second, Ursa let the boy fall to the floor.

: "Lucky for Horse Archer, Diana good person. She probably not let Ursa kill Horse Archer even if Horse Archer leave. Ursa not know why, but Ursa would listen to Princess. Maybe Horse Archer should listen too. Anything else Horse Archer want to say, or should Ursa leave Horse Archer to get some air?"

Oscar stared at Ursa throughout whole ordeal with hatred oozing from his squinted eyes and clenched, bared teeth. He did have something to say after being dropped down.

"Leave? And let you reign over her? Never. I will be her shadow and shield. I will drink poison and acid if needed, I will protect her from you and anyone else who dares to stand in her way, you just see!" Fuming, Oscar left for the upper decks, rubbing his neck a little.

He took a deep breath once outside and went back to other ship. Diana was nearby and he didn't want to arise her suspicion that he might've had a scuffle with her... guard. Speaking of guards, Oscar walked up to one of them.

"Tyrn! I hope my silver hook brought you luck in this little ship-to-ship combat? Can I have it back now?"

"Hm? I thought I gave it back to you at the start of the battle."

Tyrn dug through his pouches and then put his hands up in front of him.

"See? Not here!"

He put his hands down and grew more serious.

By the way... did something happen below deck? I heard some odd noises.

Oscar blinked.

"Oh right, you did. I forgot. And yes, I've found a lady locked in a brig and there was no key so I asked Ursa to knock it down with an axe. It worked. Was it really that loud?"

Ah. Well it wasn't that loud, I only noticed since I happened to be standing right above at the time. Strange that there were multiple thuds, a man like him I would have thought to be able to crush any obstacle to pieces in an instance.

"Oh, those were barrels and crates we were opening... and promptly found lots of smelly, dirty cloth and such crap. I hoped for chests filled with gold." He looked at Tyrn for a moment.

"Time for me to go." And he wandered off to the other side of the ship, placing hands on the railing, staring with hate at the distant horizon.

"...alright then. Strange fellow, at least he hasn't been acting so crudely toward the princess as when we first met him.

Tyrn looked around.

"I suppose I might as well go take a look at this prisoner they found and make sure she's not a plant or anything."

He turned around and went downstairs below deck to go find this newcomer.

Having gotten out of the cell with little difficulty Anita had quickly made her way up the stairs; she didn't want to intrude on the two below since they had been kind enough to get her out of the cell. Looking around once she was on deck -finally getting out of the cell felt great- she tried to find Diana. It didn't take Anita long to spot her, as only one person matched Oscar's description. She seemed somewhat occupied though and Anita pondered if it would be wise to interrupt someone higher on the ladder of society than her. Figuring she ought to get it over with sooner than later, she approached and introduced herself.

"I'm Anita Theriss, your highness. As thanks for saving me I'd like to accompany on your 'absurd quest' as Oscar called it."

Wilfort snorted derisively. "He would say something like that. What skills do you have, Anita? And what were your doing inside the pirate's vessel?"

Anita had half a mind to ask just who the kid thought he was, answering for the Queen before realizing two things. One: she was the one who was interrupting and two: he had purple hair which was royalty somewhere if she remembered right.

"I'm skilled with Anima magic, particularly that of the Thunder category, though whatever happened to my tome once I was taken prisoner is beyond me. As for why I'm here... Anita trailed off. In hindsight it was a rather embarrassing story but she had to tell him something and lying wasn't really an option for someone such as herself. "I was seeking passage to Worus but due to certain circumstances couldn't find a vessel. About to give up, I was approached by someone who, in hindsight, was rather suspicious but at the time seemed helpful. He offered me passage and well... you can see the results of that for yourself."

Tyrn quickly checked the halls of the lower deck to search for the newcomer, but soon found only a grumpy Ursa, who was clearly not in the mood to be bothered at the moment. He made a note to go check on him later. His father had often told him about the importance of ensuring the well being of members of the guard to ensure cooperation, back when he was grooming him to someday take his place. He quickly filed that thought away, not wishing to dwell on happier times at the moment.

Though if there was nobody down here, then either Oscar had been hallucinating, which only brought up more questions, or that- suddenly Tyrn's mind flashed back to just barely seeing an unfamiliar women coming up the stairs a bit before Oscar had spoken to him. He had been busy helping clean up at the time and had assumed her to just be a member of the crew, but...

"Oh god damn it."

He ran upstairs and slowed upon seeing that the newcomer was already in conversation with the Prince as he did not wish to interrupt.
