"Hmmm." Oscar looked back at the stairs and then back at the brig...

"You there, miss... lady... whomever. Prisoner or slave or just unfortunate lady in distress?"

With a slight frown, Brann shook his head.

"Never mind you two. It appears as if Oscar is going to check out the rest of the ship. In that case, Ceil, is there anything I can do to help?"

Diana moved to a nearby crate and sat down primly.

...I'm glad that's over with. Everyone got hurt so much... and it's only going to get worse the closer to Ansel we get.

Ursa, still a little woozy from his wounds, approached Diana.

: "Pirates dead? Princess still in one piece?"

Diana looked up at Ursa. At least she didn't have to look so far up, since sitting on the crate made her a few inches taller.

"Yes, we won. A good thing, too. We can sell their ship to fund our journey - giving Farris and his men a share too, of course."

"I'm glad you're all right, Ursa. I was really worried."

Diana ran the last few seconds through her mind a second time.

"F-for everyone! It was a rough battle, I mean! We really need to get you looked at by Ciel when she has the chance, though..."

: "Ha! Ursa knew pirates not win. This pack too strong for bunch of water-bandts."

He sat down on the deck beside Diana's crate, allowing her a rare moment of being the taller of the two.

: "Healing lady already check on Ursa. Say Ursa lost some blood but not too much. Not as bad as Horse Girl in Prince's castle anyway."

He was silent for a moment, perhaps feeling a rare chill of mortality. Then he gave Diana a concerned look.

: "Is Princess okay? Looks like might have fever or sunburn. Should get healer lady to look at you."

Enoch shivered slightly from ghost pangs, thankful when Ceil came around with the staff. "The heal is appreciated, Ceil." The mage said slowly as he stretched a bit, returning feeling to and testing everything to be working appropriately.

The short man accepted the ring from Brann tentatively, despite the clarification, and looked at it closely. "...There is power in this, a flower yet to bloom. But not of itself, no, but that which is there to groom."

After a moment of hesitation, Enoch rummaged around in his robe. "If I could have a bit of help, I'm sure some might wish these instead of to toss them to the kelp." He's not really sure what compelled him to touch these blasted things, as he gingerly held out a knife and pilum by whatever bit wasn't metal, trying to keep add minimum contact with it as possible. Just having them in such close proximity made him feel uneasy.

With a slight frown, Brann nodded and took the spear and dagger. Looking them over, he shook his head slightly.

"Neither of these would be of any use to me but... Hang on, you, Felicia or whatever your name was. Here, take this."

Brann gives Steel Knife to Felicia

"You're looking better, thankfully. But don't strain yourself too much. Wouldn't want that poison flaring up again."

"Thank you, although I would feel little remorse should they be sank. The wound are sealed, the damage is healed, the pain repealed. I shall be fine, long as the accused metal did not intertwine with me and which is mine." The mage tried to assure Brann he was fine.

Inspecting his carved fetish. He waved it slightly and it gave a few weak sparks of light that hung in the air, before rapidly dissipating. "Almost dead, the energy fled. I'll need one anew before we continue, lest I be down to a knife to defend my life."

Frowning, Brann nodded slightly.

"With all the fighting we've done, I wouldn't be surprised if others needed new weapons as well. Hopefully the port we stop in will have shops we can visit. They *should* but... nothing is certain in these times I suppose."

Oh, is that right? Then good thing I grabbed it before you, we wouldn't want you to get too powerful for us. I'll be keeping it for now. Don't worry, I'll give it to you once I trust you a little more.
"Whatever you say."
With that, she turned to Brann.
"Yeah, I'l be able to make use of this. Thanks. By the way, I don't believe I got your name yet, swordsman? Since you're obviously going to ask me about my name, it's Felicia."

"My name's Brann. And ah, good, I was right."

He hesitated, but it seemed she didn't have any more to say. With a slight nod, he walked over to Ceil and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Are you all right? You've done more than enough for now. It's best if you rest. You can take care of all of us at any time, but you need to take care of yourself too."

: "Ha! Ursa knew pirates not win. This pack too strong for bunch of water-bandts."

"...Your confidence is inspiring. Thank you."

After a moment, Diana subtly scooted closer to Ursa, crossing her legs left over right.

: "Healing lady already check on Ursa. Say Ursa lost some blood but not too much. Not as bad as Horse Girl in Prince's castle anyway."

"Oh. I see. Yes, Freya's wounds are... worrying. We may have to leave her behind to recuperate. Her skills would be welcome at our side, but... I don't want anyone to die for me if I can help it, and forcing her to fight on in her condition..."

: "Is Princess okay? Looks like might have fever or sunburn. Should get healer lady to look at you."

"What? No, no. I'm - I'm fine. Just a few scratches, wounds that will heal quickly. Please, don't trouble yourself worrying about me."

She continued to blush and look away, though, her hands laced on her left knee, secretly (or perhaps not as secretly as she thought) pleased that he WAS worrying about her.

From the other end of the ship, Wilfort was stealthily watching the pair, an unreadable expression on his face. "I cannot freakin' believe this." He mumbled to himself, as Diana turned on all of her "Why yes, I am attracted to you Mr. Mountain Man" signals.

Anita watched in silence as the stranger with a hat approached. She hadn't seen him before and she doubted he was a new member of the crew; however, she wasn't going to immediately trust him just because he seemed to want to help, it was foolishness like that that had landed her here in the first place.

"Hmm... I'd probably have to go with lady in distress."

"But why do you care? I thought I was being sold as something or another the second we reach land!"
