With the battle over, Farris calls his sailors up on deck. "Well. No use in letting a ship like this go to waste. We'll bring it with us, and maybe drum up some war funds for you that way, eh?"

After sucking the life out of Ross, Lucas puts his tome away and gets something from his corpse. Then he heads towards Brann.

You deserve this more than anyone else after what I saw today.

Give the Hero Crest to Brann.

"Thank you...I do hope blocking that path was enough to help during the battle."

We still haven't gotten to the best part. Can we open the chests to see what goods they had?

A search reveals the master key to the chests on deck, where Lucas finds 2000 Gold, a Speedwing, a vial of Elixir, an Ocean Seal, a Magical Ring, and a Fell Contract.

Taking the crest, Brann fiddled with it for a second and then nodded slightly.

"Thank you. And good fighting."

Turning to Enoch, he offered the man a ring he'd found on the mage he'd killed.

"I think... This seems like it would serve you more than me. It isn't made of iron or anything like that so... If you want it?"

Looking around, Brann frowned slightly, then nodded.

"Right. Ceil, Enoch, do either of you want to come with me while I check out the rest of this ship? Something doesn't feel right. This was a Worus ship at some point it looks like... I want to see what else I can find."

Ceil wasted no time moving from person to person, starting her usual rounds of healing and triage.
: "I'll be a moment, Brann. Here, Enoch." She nodded quietly as she quickly passed her staff over Enoch multiple times, "Dreadful, these wounds..."

Of all the things the ship was carrying on the chests, the one that interested Lucas the most was the strange piece of paper. He never knew what were those things, but now there was someone he could ask. He grabbed the Fell Contract and turned to Felicia.

Felicia? Can you tell me what is this thing? From the looks of it it's some shady rogue stuff and I don't know anything about it.

Felicia looked over the contract, then replied.
"Hmm, this looks like a fell contract or somesuch. Basically, they give power to certain inviduals, if they sign the dotted line on the contract. I've heard rumours about these while I worked inside the Exstenn army, but I never saw one before. It's also said that they're tipically used by swordsmen or thieves and their ilk."

Oh, is that right? Then good thing I grabbed it before you, we wouldn't want you to get too powerful for us. I'll be keeping it for now. Don't worry, I'll give it to you once I trust you a little more.

"Finally on my feet. That hurt." Oscar patted his stomach, now all healed thanks to Ceil's miracles, and then ventured into the ship's lower decks. Maybe they've hidden some extra treasure that could help his Pri- the Princess with restoration of Ulfijan. Yes. That.

Oscar doesn't find much of value. Empty barrels and kegs, bits and pieces of broken weapons, magical tomes sapped of their power, filthy, ruined bundles of cloth that may have used to be clothing... It's all junk.

At least, up to a point. The brig seems to have a lady inside.
