Ceil made a curt bow.
: "Tis' no trouble, I will not press on it. But it seems some of your friends here are hurt as well, do you mind if I at least mend their injuries?" She indicated towards Biggs and Wedge.

Oscar's mouth went agape when he saw the fair, blue-haired lady step into the inn. The air of elegance around her, her fine clothes, that smile and lovely eyes, the sweetness of the voice.

Oscar waited not a second more and moved closer to the blue-haired beauty (Diana), and knelt in front of her.

"My fine lady! I would like to introduce myself - my name is Oscar, and... and..."

"And I'm wondering if you want to hire me! As I am a mercenary. My prices are quite high for common employers, but for you, my price tag will drop to zero! I'm skilled with a bow, I can cook, and sew. Are you a traveling noble maiden on a quest to purge evil, or a beautiful sorceress in search for lost treasure - I beg you, take me with you." Oscar gently touched his chest, his eyes getting a little bigger and wetter during all this theatrical performance.

Jago looked around. ...Everything was OK, and everything. He abruptly remembered what he'd been trying to do.
:"Oh man, I forgot all about going to join the military! ...I went the wrong way, too, ugh, how am I going to get to the capital now..."

Diana panicked and looked at Tyrn and Otiros desperately for help. None seemed to be forthcoming.

"Er, w-well I don't know, my companions and I are just heading to Castle Ulfijan, I'm not sure how much we'll need a mercenary, you seem nice enough..."

She looked at her allies again, silently pleading for one of them to step in on her behalf.

Biggs took the hint and moved himself between Diana and Oscar. "We've no need for mercenaries who are yet in need of a wet nurse. Run along home, boy."

Oscar stood up and grinned.

"I see. However you should not speak in place of lady who is definitely in charge over you, given her dress, and your armor..." The blonde looked at Biggs closely. Then he looked at the girl again.

"...Well, even if you do not need my services, by pure stroke of luck I'm heading toward Castle Ulfijan as well."

"Oh. I see."

Diana looked at Biggs for reassurance, but spoke her mind anyway.

"Well... maybe it wouldn't hurt to let him come along. There could be more bandits between here and there. The more protection the better, right?"

She indicated Ciel with her head.

"And... maybe ask if she wants to come along too? It would be nice to have a healer around..."

Jago looked outside. He groaned.
:"Oh man, I'm at the border?! This is what I get for navigating in the middle of the night ... and not bringing a map... How am I going to get to the capital now?!"

Diana looked at Jago.

"Er, which capital are you trying to get to? Durhiel or Ulfijan?"

At Oscar.

:"A word of warning, do anything untoward her and my spear may do untoward things to you, my friend."

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

Oscar smiled toward the black-haired girl.

"You don't have to worry, I'm not keen on being impaled on a spear."

Diana's expression softened at Jago's plight. She really shouldn't be inviting so many people along when she was supposed to be incognito, but she couldn't just let this poor boy continue to wander aimlessly, lost for who knows how long.

"...You can come with us too, if you'd like. That's where we're going."

"...milady, my apologies but I question the wisdom of bringing along anyone at all. It could be a risk and lose us time."

Tyrn glared in the general direction of most of the room's occupants.

:"Oh, that's great! Thank you!"
Jago either did not hear Tyrn (most likely) or possibly just chose to ignore him.
But he probably just didn't hear.
