"What sort of dolls are you interested in?"

"Well- I guess getting stronger does count as something. I want to be a Elite Crossbowman, you know."

He shrugged and looked back to the road.

"So you're thinking about learning from the archers there? That's not a bad idea. A sort of cultural exchange would be nice."

[Praefectus Screptum]

"Yes! I am quite sure they have archers with different combat styles! And I will be willing to share what I know with them too, nothing like a fair exchange!"

[Furtuka]

"He has a good point, perhaps milady might be able to find someone to aid her skills with the sword."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I-Is that slander on my skills, Tyrn? I'll have you know that although I haven't beaten you yet, that doesn't mean I'm bad! Y-You just have the reach advantage, that's all!"

"I'm more flexible. I'll beat you one of these days!"

"I meant no disrespect milady, I was being honest. I'm certain that someday you shall be able to surpass me."

"It's all right, Tyrn. I doubt we'll have much to do in our free time after we arrive, so we could always spar. I'll make it fifty seven... to... one..."

Diana trailed off with a sigh. Keeping score had probably been a bad idea in retrospect.

"And a half counting that time you knocked down that bees nest!"

"Th-That was an accident! How was I supposed to know that wooden sword was about to break and that the end would go flying into the tree like that?"

"I hate bees... and wasps... and most insects, really..."

King Drahool hadn't specifically prohibited her from learning how to fight, but he disapproved of the idea. It wasn't a princess's place to be out on the battlefield.
