The question was addressed to everyone. If the group thought it best to flee, then she would agree to do so; it was her fault they were in this mess. But she wanted to deliver a message to King Ansel Exsten: Queen Diana Durhiel may be exiled from home and country, but she was alive, she was angry, and she had followers who would fight for her cause. The best way to do that was to soak the mortar of Castle Durhiel in Extenian blood before she left to gather a base of power and plan her revenge.
