Just as with the other weapons, Allondight slowly responds beneath Felicia's hand, eventually forming a massive curved blade.

Felicia gets Allondight, the dragon blade! Pick an item to put in storage.

"That we will."

Diana folded her hands behind her back.

"I've never been good at... leaving myself unguarded, I suppose. Speaking freely. There's always been... decorum, or social standing to consider between myself and everyone I know. But I wanted to thank you for providing me with some... much needed perspective. It was only after we talked that I started to consider forgiveness. So thank you. I'm sure Armad would too, if he knew you were responsible for our alliance."

Diana bowed slightly, inclining her upper body.

"As for the Wilfort query... As much as I appreciate your support, I thought that maybe Wilfort could use you at his side until he's older. Given that Ulfijan allows challenges for the throne, some opportunist might see him as an easy way to becoming the ruler. You two get along well, and I would like it if he remained Emperor for some time. I'm not saying he can't take care of himself, of course; he's as capable as I am, but... I'll have Otiros, Tyrn, Oscar, Ursa. I would just like to be reassured he'll be fine."

"Please think it over. As for me, there's something else I need to do right now. Please excuse me."

Diana bowed slightly again and approached Ursa.

"May I speak with you for a moment? Privately?"

She made a gesture with her left hand toward a less crowded part of the armory.

Ursa looked up from inspecting his new Hatchet (which looked remarkably like his old one), nodded, and followed Diana.

Diana stood and waited for him quietly. When he came over, she glanced at him, then looked at the ground, then closed her eyes for a moment.

"...Now that it comes to it, I... find it difficult to say what I want to say."

She chuckled at herself, the sound quiet and slightly self-mocking.

"I've been doing some thinking... about what life might be like after we bring peace back to the world."

She had never really planned to live past killing Ansel; she hadn't thought it possible. But maybe... just maybe it was possible to get all the things she wanted. Diana gestured at Gram.

"Gram follows the will of Durhiel. And... it chose you... just as I choose you."

"Ursa... you saved me when I was at my weakest point, because it was the right thing to do, not because of who I am. And you've never once treated me as anything other than a fellow person. You've stood beside me at great risk to yourself, with no guarantee of reward. You've taught me things... you've been there for me, even before we met."

A light blush was turning her cheeks pink as she continued to look slightly away, glancing at Ursa every now and then as she spoke and pressing her fingertips together.

"I would... very much like it if you continued to stay by my side, for as long as our lives shall last. Would you... also... want that?"

She took his hands in hers and met his eyes again.

Ursa smiled gently.

: "Diana would have to order Ursa to go away. Ursa be happy to stay forever."

Diana laughed happily.

"Then... we have so much to plan and do when we get back to Durhiel! The people will be happy to see an end to the war, the return of peace, the throne back in the hands of the rightful ruler... and a royal wedding to follow, of course..."

She swung their joined hands lightly from side to side.

"I guess we'll have to get you used to the idea of being a king, huh? We'll both have a lot to learn and figure out. Together."

Meanwhile, Oscar exhaled quietly at the words of his Queen. He had his thoughts about this, but he couldn't stop Diana even if he wanted.

~Chapter 11~
~Truth~

With barely any time taken to recover, Diana, Wilfort, and Armad follow Kunsel, the half-dragon sorcerer behind Ansel's war. Rather than search for the half-dragon directly, Diana suggests that the group head directly to the Forsaken Lands- the site where the dragons were banished so long ago. As the group moves toward what remains of Osngaria, Armad brings up Kunsel's claims regarding the identity of God and the genesis of the Divine Weapons. He posits that Kunsel's claims may be true, citing the grotesque dragon wings that he was able to conjure with the aid of the Fire Emblem. Wilfort responds noncommittally until Armad suggests that, if it is the case,   Neither he, Diana, or Wilfort have any more divine right to rule than any of the others present.

The younger prince counters the argument, saying that no matter where the weapons came from or how the countries of Ostcar were formed, that the three of them were better groomed to command than anyone else, with the possible exception of some of the Councilmen of Worus. The discussion faded to nothing after that. Soon, the ruined husk of Castle Osngaria came into view...

Wilfort rode at the fore, Wing Spear in hand as he survived the landscape. The group had recently shifted from riding across dirt and grass to trudging through sand. Most of the group had forgone their mounts in response, though Oscar was able to keep his own steed at pace with the group.

As the group drew closer to the castle of Osngaria, its former splendor presumably ruined by Exstenese troops, Wilfort throws up a hand. "Hold on! There's something in the sand, moving." Before anyone had time to breath a response, a number of dried out corpses rose from the desert, sand pouring off of their bodies. Some wore Osngarian colors, and others wore Exsten's, but many of them sported wounds on their body that should have been fatal.

Armad paled as Wilfort hurriedly flew back while the group made to form a battle formation. "What's going on? Why do the dead walk?" He grit his teeth and drew his slender green blade. "This is the work of Kunsel... We cannot let them slow us."

Brann fights to move through the sand, and stops just close enough to the nearest shambling creatures to be in effective range with the more pedestrian of his two bows. He launches a pair of arrows at one of the smaller, quicker specimens. The first shot strikes the upper shoulder, and the second punches through the undead's spine. The soulless corpse flails its arms for a few moments before going still.

The creature disposed of, Brann shifts his feet to begin moving again when he hears an uncharacteristic crunch under his boot, and bends down to retrieve a piece of ancient looking cloth, covered in writing.

"There. They can die again, no problem. We just need to fight them as any other enemy. Now... what's this?"

He picked up the paper and started to read it.

The paper is old, and badly weathered, though most of the text is mercifully readable.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Though readable it may be, it makes little sense. There are no known records of any land called Usade, nor any war with it.
