Walking with Wilfort to the armory, Brann spotted two rapiers with silver inlaid handles. Picking one of them up, he tested the balance and grinned. Handing one over to the young prince, he picked up the other one for himself.

"Here, try this blade out. I noticed you can handle a sword pretty well in our last few battles. This one should work better for you than some of the other ones though."

Wilfort took the offered sword and waved it around experimentally. "Yeeeees. Yes, this should work for me nicely. I'm not really suited to most swords at my, well, current size. But thrusting swords like this one work fairly well."

Brann nodded.

"I noticed that you seemed more comfortable using my rapier than any of the other swords, so I figured this one might work. We could spar for a bit if you wanted, I could give you a few tips, that sort of thing."

He frowned as he tested the rapier again and shook his head. Putting it down, he instead picked up a thicker, slashing sword with a silver inlaid hilt. Nodding, he picked up the sheath for it and strapped it to his waist.

Ursa shook his head at the prince's response.

: "This Ursa's first axe, and the one Ursa know best. Ursa avenged mother with this. If we got to fight bigger and stronger enemies, Ursa need something can use properly."

The prince frowned. "I am sorry, but restoring that particular weapon would take a considerable amount of time that we don't have. I'm sure I could find one of similar make, if that would suffice- its a common enough tool."

: "Grrrr...bah, fine. But once we get back Ursa will want this Hatchet fixed up. Ursa will take a spare in the meantime."

"My thanks."

Diana added the sheath to her belt, jostling her armory around until the long sword was hung over her back, the iron sword and killer edge on her left hip, with the steel axe and short axe on her right hip. She took a moment to look at herself in a nearby mirror that was presumably there to help soldiers fasten their armor. A year ago, she couldn't imagine herself looking like this; battle-worn and experienced, in strong armor and carrying about twenty pounds of weaponry. A month ago, she couldn't imagine herself allying with Prince Armad, though she was glad now she had spent time reflecting on matters until she had come to her current state. She very likely had Brann to thank for that.

Speaking of the swordsman, she walked over to him and made a gesture to the side with her head, as if asking him to come over to her when he had a moment.

The young prince nodded. "It never hurts to polish a skill. Later though- as soon as we're ready we have to go after Kunsel."

Jago took one of the crossbows, grinning widely at Otiros.

Oscar scratches his nose while browsing the weapons. Finally, he settles on silver bow.

"I'll be back in a minute Wilfort."

Following after Diana, Brann looked at her questioningly.

"Did you need something?

"Not particularly. I just wanted to... get your thoughts on how things stand right now, and perhaps what you plan on doing after we deal with Kunsel."

She indicated Wilfort with a gesture of her head.

"You two seem to be getting along fairly well."

"I think that we have a challenge ahead of us. To think that one of the dragon kind would still be around... We will have a fight. As for what I plan on doing... I don't know. I had thought to return to Worus but... I'm not sure it's the best option. I... I will be doing what Ceil wants to do I suppose. And yes, Prince Wilfort and I have gotten to know each other quite well."

"Yes, without doubt these are a lot better compared to the crossbows we had before."

"Bah, missed all the action.
As she jumped from the saddle, she took notice of the sword in the corner, that no-one else was touching.
"That must be the bastard's sword...
