Enoch regained consciousness once more thanks to Otiros' vulnerary. He roused slowly, starting up at the sky for a moment before twitching slightly.

"WHY. DOES. EVERYTHING. BURN." Seeing the metal giant that is Otiros, and the fact that he was in a different spot than before, a few things started to click in his brain. "HI." He collapsed back on the ground, shivering in agony as black veins pulsed but slowly grew faint as the medicinal aspects of the vulnerary scrubbed his system clean of the bile.

~Enemy Phase 14~

Armad moved out into the chamber that Diana almost entered not long ago.

"What's going on here? Why aren't you fighting the intruders?"

The Mage who had thrown down his tome wilted under the prince's baleful gaze. "Y-your highness, we cannot fight against them! Look at what they did to Emos!" He pointed a trembling figure at the suit of armor that Diana had torn through to kill the man inside.

Armad grimaced. "I don't give one whit about your cowardice- We cannot fall to looters and brigands. Not after everything my father has thrown away."

One of the archers spoke up. "Sir, they aren't looters! It's Durhiel! Queen Diana has come to mete out justice!" The other nodded fervently.

"Impossible. Princess Diana died in the assault on Castle Ulfijan."

The color drained from the faces of the three who had surrendered. "So she's a ghost? God save us!"

The prince turned away from them, looking disgusted. "God save me from the fools that surround me." Then, beyond the doorway, he caught sight of the princess. "...What? Princess Diana?"

Brann to 19-16

"Ugh... My lady... Is that... Is that the prince? If it is, please. Please try and talk with him. The commoners love him; he is not his father.

Diana stepped forward.

"As you can see, I am quite alive, as is Prince Wilfort."

After a moment, she lowered her sword slightly - low enough to indicate a willingness to parlay, but high enough to be readily available should she need it.

"Are you here to fight, or will you indulge me for a few moments and speak?"

"...I was told differently. But it certainly seems to be you." Armad sheathed his own blade, and placed his sword hand on his hip. "Funny. I imagined you having longer hair." The crown prince of Exsten sighed, and looked Diana in the eyes, his eyes like ice. "What are you doing? I want to know what your goal here is."

"I have a few, though they will likely all have the same result. I want to avenge my family. I want to bring justice to your father for all the suffering and death he has brought to the five countries... But most importantly, I want to stop him before he makes a very grave mistake."

Diana tilted her head slightly.

"You know what I mean, don't you? Or do you, too, trust that snake of a prophet?"

Armad held up a hand, motioning for Diana to stop. "Before we get into that, I want to know what your plans for Exsten as a country are. It seems clear that you intend to murder my father, the king. But what comes after?" Armad's tone was even and measured, and it was difficult to read from his voice what answer he wanted to hear.

Brann was quietly listening to the conversation, holding a hand against the wound in his side. He wanted to speak up, but knew that right now he should just stay quiet and let Diana deal with this.
