Ursa's axe impacted against the metal of the Lancer's shield, accompanied by the sound of breaking bone and a cry of pain as the man's arm was shattered, even through the shield. The wildman moved the shield aside with one hand, and brought the blade of his axe down on the suffering man's head with the other.
