Jago shrugs.
:"Hey, "not getting brutally murdered" isn't something I'm gonna complain about."

"I've heard Ansel expended most of his forces conquering the continent. This is likely all he has left... though I would imagine his absolute best troops will be with him, wherever he is in the castle."

Enoch approaches the wall of the keep, spotting a series of small holes in the wall. Known colliquially as 'murder holes', there intended use was to allow defenders to harry invaders at minimal risk to themselves. Twisting the holes to his own ends, Enoch fires a blast of magic inside, badly wounding the archer behind the wall. The burnt defender holds his ground however, and fires back at Enoch, burying an iron arrowhead into the mage's thigh. It doesn't save him from the second flash of light, however.

Enoch has been poisoned!

Flash is broken!

Diana moves to 20-26 and draws out the heavy, bloody Killer Axe, then calls for d-e-f-e-n-s-e!

"Let the fools break themselves upon our blades! They are the winds, we are the mountains, and we shall not bow!"

~Enemy Phase 1~

The swordsman by the door rushes at Ursa, easily placing an enormous gash across the man's chest. For a moment, it seems as though the man will soon be on the ground. To the surprise of many, however, Ursa brings his hatchet up in almost a punch, splitting the other man's jaw down the center, where the blade stuck. The man screamed through a mouth filled with blood and metal until the wild man tore the hatchet free and the man fell to the ground, where Ursa stomped on his back, generating a noise of splintering ribs.

133-15-64+10+5=69
Roll: 41-Hit! Critroll: 49- Crit!
30+4-1-1-7=25x3=75 Damage!

At the same time, Diana is engaged one of the spearmen, and easily dodges his lance before staggering the man with a counter attack.

36+1+3-1-18=21 Damage!

The other lancer, gritting his teeth, charges at Ursa, and manages to slip under the giant's guard, slamming his lance through the big man's left lung. Before Ursa can react, the other man kicks him off of his lance, inflicting even more trauma on the man's torso.
