Diana smiled.

"Actually, I just wanted you down here so I could do this..."

She put her hand to his chin and tilted it up slightly as she leaned in. Her kissing technique was far from perfect as well, considering she lacked practice, but she wanted to let Ursa know how she felt. After a few moments she opened her eyes and leaned back, giving him a thoughtful look.

Ursa just stared for a moment, then slowly started grinning.

: "Heh. So this is being human is like." Still kneeling (so that their heights were closer to even), he gave Diana a great big hug. Not his usual enthusiastic back-breaking bear hug, but something softer, just for her.

"It's something like this, yes..."

Diana kept her arms loosely around his neck, enjoying the simple closeness.

"You're very dear to me, Ursa. I... care more about you than I do about killing Ansel, now... but I hope you understand I still have to finish this. For my father and brothers, and Wilfort's mother, and everyone he unjustly killed. Your being with me... gives me something to look forward to after that final battle. Something I want for myself..."

Ursa nodded. He understood - maybe not about having a father, but the desire to avenge your family and kill those who took them from you.

: "Ursa is with Diana every step. Ex-ten king will not be able to face both of us and live. You have Ursa's word."

"I'd rather just have Ursa! But thank you. I know I can depend on you."

"...Maybe I already depend on you too much. Ursa, promise me you won't let anything happen to you. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you too."

Ursa let a note of sternness into his voice.

: "Diana, you only one who can lead your people. Diana is one who cannot die in this fight, and Ursa will do everything to keep you safe. If Ursa have to die for that he will." He cheered back up pretty quickly though.

: "Luckily, Ursa not easy to kill. With Diana and Sword Man and Healing Woman, and even the Prince and the archers, Ursa not expecting to die any time soon. Ex-ten king will die first, and Diana can mount his head on castle wall."

"I think you're forgetting who orders who, around here."

"I'm serious. I want you to promise you won't do anything foolish."

Ursa frowned.

: "Ursa promise...but Diana has to promise as well. What if Princess died and Ursa didn't? Ursa would never smile again."

Enoch heard the two go on and on about... Something. The mage wasn't really paying attention, but the noise caused him to glance. He caught sight of the two... Doing something? Their faces were mashed together, and he gave a guess. Had they no shame!? Urgh! Humans. The mage, feeling his spot now desecrated, hopped out of his spot in the trees and went back to the others, not wishing to be within proximity of whatever they were doing.

There were quite a few sights he'd rather of not seen, and now must add another to the list.

"Uh, okay. I'll just... ignore it then." She was clearly put off by the fact Jago didn't even have to read a spell to cast magic. Maybe because when she was young she was forced to learn how and had to suffer through extremely boring and tedoius lessons.

"Anyway!" she pulled out her fire tome and flipped to a random page, not that it really mattered. "We should probably start you off with basics," before you fry yourself alive or burn someone's clothes off... And she meant basics, like what runes were, not even how to read them. "So spells in tomes are just a medium that helps channel magic, it's possible to cast spells without them but's taxing. Watch this for example."

She mumbled the incation for the basic Thunder spell and sure enough she was able to cast it, though at the cost of some of her energy.
