"N-no... It was all for nothing?" Yondell clutched the arrow protruding from his heart, and fell to the ground, dead.

[Swordstar]

"... And so it's done."

Brann swayed and then collapsed from the magic he'd been hit with in the final seconds of the battle. None of his limbs seemed to want to follow his orders and instead locked up.

"Ah... Uhm, this is unfortunate. Hopefully the spell will wear off soon enough..."

[Praefectus Screptum]

Otiros tried to look to the side as if to point to their healer with his head as he couldn't move his limbs. He was almost like a castle statue, some armored soldier with his crossbow up as if he was aiming at something.
"Hopefully she can help us with this. I do not feel comfortable standing on this position all the time."

[Xanmyral]

Enoch squeezed past the metal statue, looking at Yonn and was disappointed that the fight was over so soon. At Otiros' comment, the mage waved dismissively.

"Oh do not cough, it will wear off. Give it time, soon you'll have movement sublime."

Despite his comment though, he helped move Brann into a slightly more comfortable position instead of splayed out on the floor.

"Ha, that's better, thank you. You fought well. I hope the tome we found is useful to you. Our challenges will only get harder after this I suspect."

[Xanmyral]

The robed mage nodded, taking out the tome Brann gave him. "The magic will surely assist in making our enemies lives most tragic. An appreciated tune for this boon."

"Hopefully things do get hard, as of yet I don't believe I'm quite enough scarred." The mage joked, seeming to be in rare form and a good mood today.

[SeriousConcentrate]

Diana closed her eyes and released a deep breath through her nose. The councilman was dead. Hopefully so was Ansel's support in Worus.

"There. We're finished with him. Everyone who has a notion, go loot the place."

Diana moved over to Otiros, noting what Enoch had done for Brann. Although it took the limit of her strength¹, she was able to pick the massively armored archer up and carry him over to a chair, where she put him in a more relaxed pose.

"Whew. Got enough armor, Otiros? Regardless... that will have to do for now. I'll trust Enoch when he says the spell will wear off soon."

With that, she turned back to the room at large...

Ursa slowly got to his feet; his injuries, while painful, were not crippling or deadly.

She also finds Yondell's signet ring. An features an intricate design in the shape of the Yondell region of Worus, with careful detailing in the features.

"Heh. Can't say I wouldn't mind our last few fights being easy but.... Oh well."

He wiggled his fingers slightly.

"Ahhh, there we go. I think the spell's starting to wear off."

Diana took it and brought the ring over to Brann.

"Want to be a political equal after all this is over?"

She wasn't sure if it had any special powers or anything, but if anyone did know, it would likely be one of the two people actually from Worus.
