"I don't see anything..." Biggs said, scowling and reaching for his sword.

"Me neither. But that doesn't mean someone isn't damn well here!" Wedge brandished his lance, looking carefully around.

Frowning intensely, Jago reached for and took out his bow, as well as an arrow.

The mage shook his head. "Hear, ready your gear, show no fear." With that, the mage falls silent, listening.

Diana drew her sword, her frown deepening.

"This doesn't sound too good.."

Otiros pulled his bow up and aimed around.

Oscar looked at one of the horses, then drawn an arrow from his quiver.

"Maybe we will get bandits or deserters or something."

~Meanwhile, farther up the path, behind some trees...~

"Well damn, guess we've been found out. Let's get 'em lads!"

Slightly further up the path, Exstenese soldiers wielding axes, swords, and bows emerged from bushes and behind trees, advancing on the group.

Jago began looking even more nervous as a frighteningly large amount of soldiers sprang out at the group. This nervousness was not helped when the fear of his horse combined with his own horse, together with his ineptness at riding, made sure he fell from his horse; though he was lucky enough to land on his feet, he was now pretty much thrust headfirst into battle. And as such, he figured he should try to fight, spotting a swordsman in the trees, walking over and firing an arrow at him.
Move to 12, 13 and shoot Swordsman B.

The mage dismounted the horse to the best of his ability, knowing that staying on it would just disrupt his concentration... Which seems would be very needed in the moments to come. Enoch moves to 10.16, watching the trees warily.

Diana slid out of the saddle and gripped the hilt of her sword in both hands, looking around nervously, before wandering closer to Biggs and Tyrn.

Diana moves to 11,15.

(Once I class-up Diana will stop being such a coward in battle. :P)
