Diana looked at the crest in her hand.

When I left Durhiel castle at my father's command, I was an obedient princess. And now... I am a rebel queen. Whether I fall here and now, or to Ansel's blade, or we stand strong... History will remember me. And maybe to some... I'll be a hero.

She pinned the crest to her belt and looked up as Wilfort passed overhead. Something fell in his wake, and she reached out and grabbed the hilt of the sword before it hit the ground.

It's now or never. No one is going to teach me how to rule my people. I have to do it myself.

The queen drew the sword from its sheath and tucked the leather holder into her belt.

"All right, everyone! Lift those shields, brace those feet, and get ready for a battle!"

From the west, the wing of pegasus knights draws to a shorter distance, spears at the ready.

Across the river, the three mages lay down a barrage of magical ice, centered on Brann. He sidesteps every crystal with casual ease.

"Watch out, we've got pegasus riders incoming! Lets get ready for a fight. Ursa, with your axe you should be able to counter their ranged attack! Try not to get too close though, I think they have swords as well!"
