Osngarian, at least formerly... I was exiled right before the war. Not like I could do much to stop anything. I'm actually sort of glad, if I weren't kicked out I would have get massacred with the rest and wouldn't have met you.

And you... are you really from Exsten?

Was a scout for a mercenary company in the early days of the war, but the rest of the company was slaughtered while I was out scouting for enemies one day. I infiltrated their army, hoping to find a opportunity to kill one of their generals or something. Decided to betray them early when I saw your group. That's about it."

I'm sorry about that. You didn't have much of a choice back then, if you didn't betray them we would have killed you. And even when you did it almost went like that... At least we'll have a chance at the king if all goes relatively well.

"I see. Well, the way things have been going, honestly we would have to be pretty stupid to turn this offer down. How much would we need to pay?"

"Fifteen hundred gold pieces. I should be able to get a dozen vulneraries or so for that much."

"Well, I can see this arrangement is working out already. I have much to do today, so I'd like to get on with my work. Please be ready to leave in the morning." Kuimer looked pointedly at the door.

Diana glanced at Kuimer, then back to Neeya.

"Understood. Here is the gold. Follow me."

The princess led Neeya - and presumably Wilfort - over to where Otiros was standing.

"Otiros, would you take Neeya into town and keep her safe while she buys medicine for the group?"

"Yes, now we can only hope it all goes well, and give it our best. Even if we die dying so."
