"There is one other thing. While my manor is safe from any overt action from Yondell in the very near future, and should be again once you are gone, I must admit, I expect foul play of him. My niece would be a prime target for him. I should like you to take her with you. She is no fighter, or healer, but she has a way with handling supplies, and I expect she would be very much in danger were she to stay with me."

"...Are you certain? I mean no offense, but we're planning on marching on Exsten. She may be in more trouble with us than she would be here. If you think it's a good idea, we'll take her along. I just want to make sure she knows the risks she would be taking, traveling with us."

"We'll do our best to protect her. May we meet her? I'd like to get to know someone if they're going to be traveling with us."

Kuimer looked puzzled for a moment. "But you've already met her. She escorted you here, you may recall. Oh! I must not have mentioned that Neeya is my niece! Well, I must admit I feel rather foolish. All the same, I shall send for her anyway." Kuimer waved a hand, and a nearby servant hurried off.

"Oh, I see. No, I don't recall it ever coming up. Either way, I suppose it's best we tell her now."

On his own for the moment, Jago drew a quite special bolt from his pack, and twirled it around. He may have been the only one unharmed, but he hadn't done too terribly much last battle and it was infuriating-- but he COULD do something about it. Something in his veins called to him as he looked at the bolt, an energy he could not deny. He'd heard stories of the Orion's Bolt, and perhaps it was time to reach his full potential.
:"Hmm, you know what? I think now's as good a time as any..."
Jago took the Orion bolt and his crossbow, and nocked the shot, firing it into the floor. It smashed into a thousand, thousand different pieces and then, quite all of a sudden, Jago felt the calling in his veins escalate to a great magical power.

"Well, he was rather injured already, so all I did was finish him off. Funny, I seem to not have much trouble against axemen. It's propably the fact that their axes are heavy and innacurate, especially against faster targets and those with lighter weapons. And yes, it's good to see that you're alive too. We need everyone we can get if we hope to win against Exsten."
With that, she stuffed the treasures into her satchel.

We also need all the power we need... I feel like this could have worked out better if I didn't make so many mistakes. I lost focus back there, they injured Diana and broke through the line... But worst of all I've been holding an ally back. I apologize for my behavior earlier, I shouldn't have prevented you from getting this, so... I give it back to you. Use it wisely.

"Uncle? You called for me?" Neeya asked as she entered the room, hands clasped in front of her.

"Yes Neeya, I did. I'm afraid this place will not be safe for you in the coming months, and I also believe princess Diana may have a use for your talents. You'll be leaving with her and her entourage."

Neeya fidgeted somewhat, wringing her hands together and shifting her weight from foot to foot. "If that is what you believe to be for the best, Uncle. I shall make preparations to leave immediately. Is there anything else needed of me?" Neeya asked, shifting her gaze to Wilfort and Diana.

: "I believe I'm quite fine, Brann. In fact, this is likely the least stressful patch up since I first started following the Princess." Ceil quickly began work on Ursa, shutting wound after wound without even having to examine the damage first.

"Really? That's... interesting. Is... is it the ring? I noticed you were wearing it... I'm glad it could help if that's what it was."

"Nothing, really, save steadfastness and resolve in the face of, honestly, almost certain doom... Anyway... your uncle says you're skilled with handling supplies? Can you elaborate?"

Wilfort sharply, but discreetly, elbowed Diana in the ribs at her 'certain doom' comment.

Neeya appeared somewhat alarmed either way. "Ah, well, I have a good head for numbers, as well as a talent for arranging things. But more importantly, for this journey, I can look after any arms or tokens that you or your companions feel would burden you to have to carry them by yourselves. Of course, this also means that your group will be able to bring significantly more than they can carry- If you think that would be helpful to you."
