Wilfort made a face. "That bad, eh? Well, we all made it. I guess that's the important thing." Wilfort looked at his much abused wardrobe again and sighed.

"...Is it just me, or did you just get a lot better at that since last time?" Wilfort asked as the pain in his entire body faded quickly.

: "You could say I got a little help." Ceil angled her head around Wilfort in another quick scan, and spent a moment's more looking over his head, "There, that should be all surface wounds. I would recommend taking a rest but, I believe you will be fine for the time being, Sir Wilfort." She made a curt bow as she lowered her staff.

"Thanks. We'll figure out rest once we talk to Kuimer, and figure out where we stand now. By the way, you might want to prioritize Otiros next. He held that doorway with all he had."

[SeriousConcentrate]

: "Ughhhhhhh...Princess okay? Did we win? Ursa not feel like we won, but..."

"I'll be fine, Ursa. I'm more worried about you; my armor protected me from the worst of it, but you don't have any..."

"Excuse me, Princess Diana? The councilor wishes to speak to you and Prince Wilfort as soon as possible. Ceil is headed to take care of Wilfort, so that's taken care of."

"All right. Thank you, Brann. Can you stay here and keep an eye on Ursa until Ciel can get to him? His wounds look pretty bad."

Diana patted Brann on the shoulder and headed back toward the councilman's chambers, tapping Wilfort on the back on the way by to make sure he knew to follow her.

"You wanted to see us?"

Lucas wiped the blood on his face and looked around. Apparently there was still one person unaccounted for.

Huh. Where is Felicia? I can't see her around here...

Felicia was still in the room with the chests, looking at the items she took.
"Hmm, I have no use for this, but I suppose someone else in our group might have."

"Ah yes, and I would like to thank you very much for your assistance. Yondell and I have been opposed ever since Exsten demanded Ascalon from us. Frankly that it took the two of you showing up on my doorstep for him to attack me outright is somewhat surprising."

"For now, at least, we have some time. Since it didn't seem you routed the enemy, I can assume the other members of the council forced him to call off his attack. I figure you have two, perhaps three days before the authorize military action in my territory. I'm afraid, in terms of time, I can only afford to harbor you another night. You understand I'm sure."

"As for the matter of financial assistance I brought up before the attack, my staff has informed me that all but one of my treasures is gone. Though I still have a small sum of bouillon on my person. A reputable dealer should give you four thousand gold for it." True to his word, Kuimer passed a heavy looking bag into Wilfort's hands.

Lucas looked at the corridors before poking his head over the door leading to the chest room.

Oh, there you are. "Securing" treasure are we?

Just kidding, it's good to see you alright. It was surprising in a good way to see you strike down that warrior with such ease. Big burly men with axes seem to be my weakness...

[Swordstar]

"Right then. Shall we get you over to Ceil? She's right you know. You could use some healing for sure."

[Sirus]

: "That sound like good idea." He managed to get on his feet somehow, maybe with a little help from Brann but he wasn't sure. "Been a while since Ursa got hurt like this. At least Sword Man and Princess look okay."

[Swordstar]

"Ah, well... I got healed already. I was in... pretty bad shape. I..."

I failed...

[Sirus]

: "What about the old man Princess came here to see? He still alive?"

[Swordstar]

"He's fine. Almost got hit by some magic at one point, but beyond that just got a little nervous."

[Sirus]

Ursa grunted in satisfaction.

: "That good. Means we won even if enemies were stronger than us. Next time we be stronger and kill them all, especially if old man helps Princess now that we saved him."

[Swordstar]

"I would hope that not all of Worus has lost their honor. If he doesn't support us... I don't know what I'll do."

They arrived at where Ceil was healing others, and Brann motioned to Ursa.

"It seems the princess was worried about Ursa here, so she asked me to wait with him until you were able to look after him. How are you holding up? We left a lot of work for you this time...
