"Understood."

Diana went about waking everyone up and explaining the situation, then went to the men's sleeping quarters and knocked on the door there until someone answered.

"We're needed in the audience chambers. Can you gather up everyone in the room and bring them there?"

Huh? What?! Is it noon already?

Lucas recognized Diana's voice on the other side of the door.

Oh, I'm on it. Wake up, everyone! The princess calls for us!

Wilfort did not respond audibly, but a fist with a protruding middle finger did make an appearance from his cocoon of blankets.

"Thanks, Lucas! We'll see you there!"

Diana trotted off the audience chamber, presumably with the other women in tow.

[Solymr]

Ah, the wonder of princely manners. Since you were so kind to teach Ursa some of them, why don't we ask him to teach you how to wake up at the call?

[Haspen]

"I'm awake." Oscar mumbled, leaving the room he was sleeping in.

"Where is the Princess?"

The blanket pile shifted. "'m teachin' 'im grammar. Manners're much harder, not gonna bother. Now gimme some water."

[Solymr]

Diana said we were needed in the audience chamber. Now, Oscar, would you give Sir Wilfort the water he asked?

[Haspen]

Oscar quirked his eyebrow at Lucas, and took the water before slipping into the room. He looked at the pile of blankets, and placed the mug at nearest table or somesuch.

"Willfort, Princess needs you... Oscar's evil gears turned. "There's some wraith shaped like your mother haunting the council room! Wake up!"

Wilfort sat up, giving Oscar a rather crusty Evil Eye. "Really? We're really going to make jokes about my dead mother? That's how we're going to start the day?" The prince slid his blanket cocoon off, and put the mug of water to his lips, lowering it only once it was empty. "Go get the rest up."

[Haspen]

"If you don't like such jokes, make sure you wake up when you're asked to for the first time. You forget that you're no longer a prince with powerful mother, but a pitiful orphan without titles nor subjects to rule." Oscar left the room with a smirk, closing the door with loud slam.

Wilfort gaped at the door that Oscar had left through, his face slowly turning red. "That- that- that- WRETCH!" Wilfort rolled out of bed, and began hastily donning his armor and weapons, grumbling and muttering to himself all the while. _{"Goddamn uppity low-born trash- thinks I don't see exactly what he's doing- believes for an instant that he's gonna get what he wants-} URSA! C'mere, I need help with the chestplate."

[Sirus]

Ursa, who had been about to flip Wilfort's bed over in order to get him up, gave the deposed prince a stony glare.

: "Ursa not servant. Maybe Prince should ask nicely?"

Wilfort ground his teeth, and exhaled loudly through his nose. "You would say "I'm not a servant." And yes, I suppose you're right. Please help me with the chestplate."

[Sirus]

Ursa ignored the grammar lesson and helped Wilfort out.

: "See? That not so hard. Balthazar used to tell Ursa that good manners make world go around, and he usually right."
