Stretching his legs, Brann sighed in relief. Finally home. It was good to be back in Worus, though he had to worry about everything that had happened since he left. With a slight frown, he shook his head and tried to forget about that for now. Walking over to the rest of the group, he commented,

"I was thinking that we could split up while shopping. Those who need to get weapons could head over to the nearest forge or weapon salesman. Those who use magic could go together to the nearest magic shop. That way we could go faster. Those that don't need supplies could go with either group. Thoughts?"

Not hearing the conversation, Oscar goes to try and locate a shop filled with fancy magical items.

Oscar finds just such a shop- the building suggests that it is called Ivaldi's Wonder Emporium. Most of the stock looks like junk dredged from of a riverbed, but there are a few items that look genuinely worthwhile.

Oscar scoffed at the prices.

Then he left and returned to teh docks, sitting at a crate that was sufficiently far away from everyone else.

"Sure Ursa. I was headed to the armory, if that's where you're headed?"

Brann assumes that others will follow them and so he heads to the armory

Plopping one of the extra lances the group had down on the counter, Brann grinned at the man.

"Right then. This is a very rare lance. What would you be willing to offer for it?"

Brann attempts to bargain prices for the Veteran's Lance

The diminutive mage had been particularly happy and noticeably excited to hit land, but he also seemed nervous for some reason. During the docking, he couldn't stay still, pacing on the deck, and practically jogged off of the plank and onto the docks the moment he could.

Catching Brann explaining the weapons situation, Enoch had nodded at Brann's suggestion, leaving towards the town to find a magic shoppe without a check to see if the other mages of the group followed or not. If they needed something they'd follow, after all. Besides, he was in a hurry.

The man took the lance out of Brann's hand, gave it a good looking over, and handed it back. "I don't usually carry anything I didn't make myself... But it is certainly nice workmanship... I'll give you 550 for it."

Meanwhile, Enoch found the magic shop easily.

"Hmmph, it's worth more than that probably but... What if I threw in this lance as well? It's a bit battered, but still extremely powerful?"

Brann adds the steel pilum to the bargaining table

"You're kidding right? It's nearly only good for materials." The man scratches his chin thoughtfully. "Tell you what, 700 for the pair."

The man took the implements of stabbing. "Here's your gold. Now, what do you say to spending some of it here?"

The party gains 700 gold!
