Lucas noticed Enoch slumped on the ground and helped him up.

Wow, you got pretty hurt. He noticed his strange reaction. Another one of your curses?

"You should've looked after the princess first... I'll be fine and she's more important."

: "No, you wouldn't have been fine, not at the rate you were bleeding out. Please don't take such risks, Brann." Ceil cautioned him as she sealed his wounds, "There, don't stress yourself too much before I can properly attend to those cuts." Ceil rose and moved over to help Diana and the others.

Brann muttered slightly and slumped down some more.

"It would have been fine... But thank you. I'll just... stay here until you return."

[Xanmyral]

Enoch slowly clambered to his feet with the help of Lucas, trying to keep his breathing steady (if ragged) and ignore the horrible burning pain.

"I only got hit a bit... I think I'll just sit." The mage said as he clambered down into a sitting position, waiting for the healer to come around.

"Yes. Those that aggress with such are often met with stress." The man said simply, gesturing to the sword in the deceased pirate's hand, not feeling up for any sort of mystical explanation at the moment. He can be vague later, when it doesn't feel like his body is trying to self-immolate from the inside out.

This is a reaction to the metal of the weapon? It sure is a lot worse than just being forced to speak in rhyme. I'd like to ask you more about this curses, but maybe some time when your skin doesn't look like it's fleeing your body.

Yeah, I could definitely use a curse of this caliber.

[Haspen]

"I'm glad you're... allright Princess." Oscar rode on his horse, the abdomen part of his shirt in brilliant red splotches of various hue.

"So, who's gonna... take care... of the ship? I'm no sailor." He inquired with wheezing tone and then looked around for Ceil.

[Powder Miner]

Jago caught up to Freya.
:"Uh, hey, Freya. The building I went to go check turned out to be a weapons shop and I bought a couple of weapons. Iiiincluding a lance, for you."
Jago offered Freya the lance.

[Praefectus Screptum]

"Completely fine here, for some reason they didn't do much about the crossbowman."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I'll commandeer it once Ceil is finished with me."

Diana nodded to the healer as way of thanking her.

[Haspen]

"No, I mean, who will take care of the sails and everything? Didn't we just kill the ship's crew? I've never been on a boat, not to mention a sea-faring ship." Suddenly Oscar glared at the ship, not feeling particularily happy about this.

[Sirus]

: "Princess and friends smart. If dumb water-bandits can make boat move, we have no problem."
Ursa of course was woefully unaware of the complexity involved in ships. But his confidence was genuine.

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Oh. Well, I'll figure that out myself if need be, and Lucas is a knowledgeable person. He might know something."

She was determined to be as self-sufficient as possible.

"The crew might be around somewhere. The pirates could have been here to take the ship, and it wasn't theirs to begin with. Would you mind checking the local tavern, Oscar? I'm sure there's one around, and that's probably where we would find them."

I'm flattered that you would think of me, princess, but may I remind you that I come from the *only* country in this land that has no contact with sea. But we can figure it out, it can't be that hard.

"I will gladly do that! When I stop bleeding over my pants and saddle." Oscar spoke, staring at busy Ceil, rather (im)patiently waiting for his turn.
