Wilfort touched down next to Brann and hauled the wounded swordsman up onto his mount. "Damn, you look like shit too. I wish we had some gold to hire another healer or something. Ceil's talented and everything but she can't be everywhere at once."

Lucas went over with the rest. He was going to say something but stopped when he saw the bloody spectacle.

Getting grabbed by the pegasus rider, Brann winced and replied,

"Ha, ah, no, I'll be fine. Another healer would be nice, but this was my own fault. I was just an idiot."

"Well, we made it through without any more debilitating injuries as near as I can tell, so I guess it's not a big deal." The prince landed near Ceil again, and jerked a thumb in Brann's direction. "High priority patient for you. Again."

Brann shook his head and then bite back a noise of pain.

"There are others who are just as bad off as I am. Take care of the princess and others first. I'll be fine."

"We'll get to everyone in turn, now shut up and let her work so I can leave you here and play delivery man for everyone else." Wilfort huffed, swaying gently in his saddle.

Well, glad to hear nobody else got seriously hurt. Meanwhile, I got a present for someone. Lucas pulled out the Blade Ring. Who wants it?

Sliding off the pegasus, Brann sat on the ground and glared at Wilfort.

"There. Now I'm not being a burden to you anymore. Now let her take care of the princess and others who are hurt. I'll be fine."

: "Please accept my apologies, Sir Wilfort, triage takes priority..." Ceil solemnly nodded before rushing to help Brann.

Ursa levered himself into a sitting position, blinking in pain from the swordsman's attacks.

: "Damn water-bandits. Princess, you okay?"

Diana sighed and pulled herself to her feet, sheathing her sword and pressing her hand to her wound.
