Noticing something, Oscar slowed down, leaving Princess' side and stepping up to Jago, silently marching with him for a moment. However the blonde archer was more interesting in something hanging over Jago's shoulder.

"Where did you get that bow? Did you try it out already?"

Jago looked at Oscar from over the shoulders of the wounded girl clinging onto him, and then to the new bow.
:"Oh, um, I got it sometime in the fighting. I couldn't do it justice, so... You can take it if you want."

"Wonderful. Do not worry, I will make sure to kill as many enemies of the Princess," His eyes glanced at purple-haired male in the group. "as possible before it breaks."

Oscar then takes the Killer Bow from Jago.

"Don't trouble yourself over it, Ursa. I'm still the leader, it seems, so I'll worry about it."

She squeezed his hand gently, trying to reassure him.

: "Princess leader, but Ursa still want to help. Don't worry, Ursa think about problems. If come up with something, will let Princess know."

At least he didn't seem quite so nervous now.

She looked up at him as they walked, but kept silent for now.

Some time later, Wilfort stopped, and set his torch on the floor. "Alright, I'm satisfied that there's no one following us right now. Let's talk about some things while your healer gets to work on that rider of yours."

"Diana. What is your primary goal?"

Swinging down from the horse, Brann smiled up at Ceil and offered her a hand down.

"Is there anything I can help with while you heal the others? After all, you helped me out by healing me as we rode. It's only fair I return the favor."

"Kill the royal family of Exsten, and anyone who tries to stop me from doing that."

Ceil smiled and clutched Brann's arm as she settled herself off the horse.
: "Ah, you needn't trouble yourself. Letting me rest during the ride was plenty help enough. I think I can handle everyone else's wounds now. Sir Jago? Sir Otiros?" Ceil settled her feet and looked onto the others for a moment.

As Ceil started to look after the others who needed healing, Brann fidgeted. He enjoyed talking with the healer, if for no other reason than she seemed to understand some what going back to Worus meant to him. He eventually decided that even if he couldn't help her with the healing, he could at least keep her company while she did. Sitting down near her, he smiled at her.

"So you mentioned that you weren't a fan of pointless violence, so I can understand why you aren't a fighter like me or the others but... What made you start healing? It seems to me that if you dislike violence so much, there are other professions in which you could have completely avoided violence all together. Not had to deal with this at all."

Wilfort groaned and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "No, no. That's a step. What is your end-game? Recover Gram and rebuild Durhiel? That and Annex Exsten? Give Exsten sovereignty under a ruler you appoint? Pretend to give them sovereignty and pull their strings from your court?"

"...Good god, don't tell me your only ambition is to kill that man."

Diana thought about it.

"I assume I'll take the throne of Durhiel. I'll think about the rest as it becomes necessary."

She was hardly about to tell Wilfort she was fully ready to kill him if she had to.

The prince sighed heavily. "Princess Diana, you have a duty to your people yadda yadda yadda. You need a clear goal, and you need it as soon as possible. Once you have a goal, you can plan for that goal. And having a plan is very useful, even when God himself decides to shit on it." Wilfort sat down in front of Diana. "I suppose I'll ask again when you've had a bit more time to think. Let's get back to Ansel's impending funeral."

"According to the last report I received, Ascalon is in the Exsten Capital, where Prince Armad is currently De Facto Ruler. If we move fast, and move from Einjar to one of the northern Worus ports, probably Felixh since it's closest, we may be able to get to the capital before Ansel does. We kill Armad, take Ascalon, pray to God one of us can actually use the damn thing by then, and then let Ansel smash up his own castle as he comes to get us, where hopefully, we take his head."

"Of course, this plan makes a lot of assumptions, primarily that we can actually reach the capital before he can. Which may be difficult. We'll need more soldiers to break the garrison in the first place, and those soldiers will attract attention as we make our way through to the capital. And that's assuming that none of the Elders in Worus decide to try to curry favor with Ansel by biting us in the ass the second we toe the border."

"Aside from the 5000 gold we looted from the Ulfijan treasury, what do we have to work with financially?"

As the others got around to getting off of their horses as they've reached a stopping point, Enoch remained solidly in the saddle as he stared warily at the ground, unwilling to get off. His breath was slow and steady, shallow, as if he was fearing to breath in too deeply or too quickly. He looked around on the horses saddle something akin to a blanket that could perhaps be removed, or at the least a large object that could survive being stepped on.
