Tyrn  sighed quietly. The princess was blaming herself for misfortune again. It was maddening the urge to try and tell her not to blame herself, but in their current state and the tense mood hanging over everyone it might ... Oh to hell with it.

I l know that look on your face all too well. Please milady this is not your fault. Any one of us would gladly give our... What I mean to say is that dwelling on such misfortunes won't undo them...

"...I don't know, Enoch, though I am glad to see you up and about again. We're making our way through an abandoned mine on our way to get a ship to Worus."

Diana turned to Wilfort.

"So... why was this mine abandoned? Did the ore dry up?"

Brann blinked. He hadn't even realized that he'd been getting healed.

"Ah... yes, thank you. I... well... The mage managed to get the better of me a few times I'm afraid. I'm usually quick enough to doge a hit but... When I do get hit, it's usually pretty rough. I need to get better at that...

He sighed.

"I'm sorry about your leg. That must be hard to deal with all the time. I don't know how you can do it."

"Not entirely." Wilfort said in response to Diana's query. "But what remains is far enough in that it's somewhat hazardous to continue mining. Besides. Iron is not hard to come by in this part of the world."

"Of course, when it was discovered that seams were being followed to the surface, creating backdoors to the capital... That had something of an effect on the mines operational status as well."

Ursa looked rather uncomfortable this far underground. Although he didn't know the term, he suddenly knew that he was claustrophobic.

: "We...have to stay down here?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Only for a day, Ursa. We'll be out of here soon enough."

She smiled up at the large man, to try to reassure him.

"You've been in caves before, haven't you?"

[Sirus]

: "Small caves, when weather bad, and not for many winters. Nothing like this."

: "Feel like whole tunnel about to fall down! Ursa not want to stay here more than have to."

Not sure the reasons why she was doing it, Diana reached out and took Ursa's hand... even though it made her feel rather small in comparison.

"We'll be fine, Ursa. People build these mines to prevent collapses, and we'll be out by tomorrow evening. Trust me."

Enoch looked tentatively at the walls and the odd sparkles on the wall at the mention of the word 'mine', looking apprehensive. He looked quite a bit more alarmed than just apprehensive at the dreaded word iron.

He recoiled from the closest wall, ignoring the pain from the sudden movement as he made sure to try and stay sturdily in the saddle of the horse as he could while also being as far away from the walls as possibly, as well as raising his legs to be a bit farther away from the floor. Which mostly related to the strange, small mage being really oddly positioned on the saddle, almost to the point where a jolt could toss him off.

Enoch watched the walls closely and with a mixture of vehement anger and fear, as if both he was afraid it would lash out at him and that he wishes to lash out at it.

Ursa wasn't sure why she took his hand, but he didn't exactly mind her doing so.

: "Okay. If Princess say it will be fine, Ursa will believe it."

He lowered his voice.

: "What we do with Prince? He should not have hit you back there."

Diana mulled that over.

"...I may have been out of line, even if I was correct. In any case, we can leave him to his own devices once we reach Worus. He's too young to be any help to us."

She turned her eyes forward as they followed the small boy's torch.

"We'll see what our options are once we're in Worus... but there has to be something we can do. I refuse to roll over and hide for the rest of my life."

The big man thought for a moment. A lot of places and ideas had been thrown around in the last few moments and he didn't understand half of it.

: "Ursa not have any ideas for what to do, sorry. But Ursa will keep thinking about it."

Jago looked up at the dark and tight passageway ceiling, nervously.
:"Oh, we're sleeping down here... That'll be... Fun."

"From cells to caves. I prefer to not think what will be the next place we will be sleeping."
