Before Daryn could dash out, Enoch smiled and pushed the red acorn into the man's hand.

"I feel that the deal made here shall seal my spiel. Your act in the play is to not die this day, that is a fact, now go make your way, but remember our pact."

The mage laughed softly, as if he heard a good joke from the man. "Time is chiseled not in stone, but instead written in sand as a loan. Anyone can change their fate, now go, don't be late. Sate your want for life, give in not to hate."

The robed man turned around and walked over to 8.3, making his way along the wall.

Jago opened one eye. He wasn't dead... he... wasn't dead? He wasn't dead! He opened the other eye, and then remembered about the terrible pain in his leg, along with the bleeding. Auuugh, that's right, his leg was cut. Groaning, he put his bow away and began to take out a vulnerary to treat the wound, wincing.

As the group around the Archer dispersed towards the wall, Ceil immediately jumped from her chair, drawing her staff as she made her way over. Move to 9,9. Heal Jago.
: "No need for that medicine. Hold still, let's get that cut closed."

:"Seems they were greener then I thought.

Head to Jago, the only non-solider injured.

:"You okay, sir?"

Oscar yawned and stood from his chair, brushing his tunic flat. Then he moved to Ceil (9.8 ).

"I told you, robed lady. This wasn't a fight, and we weren't in much danger."

"I do wonder who our saviors are. They look like soldiers. Or mercenaries, at least. But then again, mercenaries don't do that kind of heroism until paid well..."

Combat Complete!

The deserters remaining on their feet flee the tavern through the brand new backdoor. Diana and her cohorts, along with Jago, Ceil, Enoch and Oscar are the only ones remaining, aside from the deserters on the floor.

Diana walked over to Jago.

"You're bleeding... is the wound bad?"

She addressed the question to the robed woman tending him.

Jago looked down at his now healed leg, surprised and relieved. He stashed the vulnerary back away.
:"I... uh, I don't think it's bleeding anymore. Uh. Thanks!"

Ceil remained focused on her work, though a faint noise behind her caused her to look up.
: "What was that? About this man's wounds? Superficial at worst, he'll be fine."
Ceil stood up and looked towards the princess and her entourage.
: "To whom do I owe the pleasure?"

Diana nodded to Ciel, then turned her attention back to Jago.

"Good to see you're unharmed."

The woman asking her her name worried her, though. She really didn't feel comfortable lying so blatantly. Perhaps it would be wiser to avoid the quesion.

"...My name's not important. In fact I really think we must be moving on..."
