Lucas kept quiet about the thoughts that crossed his mind. The prince seemed to have a different agenda than the Empress, and if he remembered correctly a particular law of Ulfijan, things could go very bad.

Plus he really wanted to see those tomes.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

Kale glanced at the items that were on display, and saw little of interest to him. His current sword was holding up well enough for now, but the one on display did look stronger. Nothing else there had any use to him whatsoever.

(Edit to fix a mistake I made in my invitory.)

Oscar looked into his quiver and checked the state of his bow and string.

"I don't need anything from here."

"OK then. We'll need two iron swords and one iron crossbow."

She put the money on the counter. When the weapons were handed over, she gave the crossbow to Jago and a sword to Freya, then buckled her own sword on just above the other one at her hip.

"Let's go see about these other shops, shall we?"

1380 gold spent!

Diana gets Iron Sword, Freya gets Iron Sword, Jago gets Iron Crossbow!

"Alright then, follow me." Wilfort led the way into another shop, with a woman wearing a shawl behind the counter this time. She visibly jumped at the sight of Wilfort.

"Ah, good day your highness. To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?" She did, however, do a remarkable job at keeping her voice calm and level.

"Just helping some out of towners finding reputable retailers. Let 'em see your prices."

And so did the party receive another price list.

"I believe we need a Heal staff for Ciel. Does anyone have any suggestions? Lucas, Enoch?"

They were magicians. If anyone had an opinion it would likely be them.

Ceil's head perked up as she heard her name.
: "Huh? Ah, you needn't-" She took a quick moment to pulse a short bit of magic into her staff, and the resulting glow only shone half as bright as usual, "...I suppose it has been getting more use as of late."

Enoch had been silent for the most of the shopping trip. The only notable thing he had done during it was staying outside of the weapon shop (with notable anxiety) instead of heading inside with the others, joining them again only when they were finished and moving away from the store. Now he was looking through most of the books with mild disinterest, although a few caught his obscured gaze.

"I've a feeling that healing will be quite appealing. To be above the ground is something that is often found best to keep one's soul bound."

The strange, diminutive mage noticably watched Prelude with the most interest out of all the other books.

"Prelude extrudes and does quite stay where it can be so viewed, but I do not delude what has no need to be pursued."

"I've no bind to what there is to find, what is mine works quite fine."
