Diana slashes at the archer. Ursa's affection gauge increases accordingly.

Then Jago puts an arrow through the unfortunate archer's head, which just confuses Ursa's affection gauge.

Quote
Jago attacks Archer A!
123+2-18=107:Autohit!
Crit roll: 2! Critical!
12+3-7=8x3=24 Damage!

Tyrn picks a fight with an axeman.

Elite Axeman counters!
83+15-19-10=69
Roll: 29-Hit!
19+1-1-9=10 Damage!

And Enoch blasts a Bandit. The holy magic vaporizes his blood.

Quote
Enoch attacks Elite Bandit A!
118-10=108: Autohit!
15 Damage!

And again!

Oscar feathers a bandit before looking for healz.

Quote

13-3=10 Damage!

Oscar attacks again!
10 damage!

Jago winces after shooting the enemy through his head, but just sighs, shrugs, and gets himself ready for any counterattacking enemies.

The strange mage merely laughed softly at the collapsing bandit, before turning to the other axemen, a hand of his crackling in tune to his laugh.

"Flee, take a knee, or pay the ultimate fee, I care not. Any of the three would fill me with such... Glee."

"I'm feeling confident about our chances, yes. And I think I'm getting used to war. Perhaps I have a natural talent for it."

She, surprisingly even to herself, didn't feel worried by that. Wasn't the dream of being a warrior why she had secretly trained with Zayn and Tyrn for her whole life? And she was using her abilities for good; getting rid of these bandits would make the roads and nearby villages safer. There were many ways to do good; one of them was to simply eliminate bad people.

What else was surprising to her was she felt a little more confident and comfortable with the big axeman close by. Something about his presence was... reassuring.

"How are you holding up, Ursa?"

: "Is tough world, Princess. Know how to fight, and fight well, is good thing...as long as not hurt innocent people anyway."

If there was one thing Balthazar had drilled into a younger Ursa's mind, it was that his great strength could be used to either help those in need or take advantage of them. The wild man was hardly a saint (not that he knew what those were) but he had made his choice long ago. And it seemed that Diana had - or would be making - a similar choice. Something told Ursa that she and Balthazar would have gotten along well.

: "Ursa just have scratch, but Sword Man and that man in robe (not the rhyming one) are hurt bad. Ursa not have medicine to help."

"I believe a good leader wields her blade to make the lives of her people better. Eliminating this group will make things safer for any villagers nearby."

That did leave the thought that if she left them alive, they might harass Exstenian troops... but even if it would hurt Exsten, it didn't seem worth it to leave her people to their whims, too.

"Brann and the traveler are hurt? I hope Ciel can get to them quickly. I have no medicine, either... but stay close to me, if you would. I'll have your back."

The big man nodded.

: "Okay, and Ursa have Princess back. Puny bandits are no match!"

((Must sleep now, ugh DX ))
