Diana parried the axeman's weapon by throwing her armored forearm against the haft, swinging the vertical blow out wide, and impaled him on her sword. After a moment she twisted it, withdrew it, and pushed the bandit to the ground.

Brann wiped his sword on the dead man's coat and grinned at Ursa. "Yes, I'll be fine. Lets go. I think I see some archers up ahead that will be perfect for you to fight. Though, I'm going to have to find a way to get across the river. Sadly I can't fling my sword at them across that space." He chuckled slightly at the image.
